Superb little horror game, that you can run through in a few hours. This was my 4th time playing it from start to end.

Perfect mix of difficulty, more boss fights, huge map and crazy amount of dungeons guarantees 3 as one of the best DQ's out there.

Harder and and deeper than the first game, probably invented jrpg companions and finally had a more involved story

Simple yet fun

It's not as bad as homecoming, but it does not live up to either origin or shattered memories in any aspects. The twist was somewhat interesting.

This game was made by people who love silent hill, and it shows. It has easily one of the most emotional and intriguing stories in the series, while adapting completely new gameplay styles that work well. I was always left second guessing my own thoughts on everything and that is what makes shattered memories such a good game.
The dumb labyrinths in the end suck tho.

Irredeemable piece of dogshit. Worst combat in the series, worst story so far in the series, worst characters in the series so far and FUCKING PYRAMID HEAD THAT DOESN'T DO ANYTHING.

Safest possible sequel they could've done. While it's not a bad game, certain things like the overtly long gameplay sections filled with the most boring gameplay will have you hoping you were playing Silent Hill 2 again.

All of these things emalgamate in a game that I was frustrated with playing until the very end. If you have the willpower to see it through, you will be rewarded.

SH3 follows the cultish storyline from 1 and hits similar story peaks with greater gameplay. Voice-acting has been dramatically improved from 1 and 2 and everything has been tuned. The bosses suck but I managed to beat them so can you!
