incredibly addicting and good

Incredibly good and addicting (in the good kind of way, or maybe I’m just bad at words) but I wish that I had a reason to use any of its later game mechanics like farming. The result of doing well in this game is the “joy” of sitting around and doing absolutely nothing in a base stocked with canned goods and enough water to last years. Multiplayer is phenomenal though.

It’s hard to articulate how Outer Wilds makes me feel, but it’s truly a sublime experience. One of the saddest and most beautiful pieces of art I’ve ever played. Phenomenal gameplay, music, story, and ending. I am getting a tattoo related to this game at some point :)

Favorite DLC of any game I’ve ever played, cried.

I think I’ve told myself I hate this game like a billion times while playing it, it’s incredibly frustrating most of the time. Still super influential, fun, and fascinating to play especially seeing its legacy now.

Go play the second one its way better lmao

The second one was such a disappointment it made me go play this again and it’s so goddamn good, the story is meh but not bad enough to take away from the incredible combat, parkour, progression, and exploration.

Difficult, often aimless, confusing, and absolutely fucking insane. Love it. The art style is so charming but I think the sequel is better.

The first game is so good, and I just never clicked with this one. It’s good, but it doesn’t hit as hard.

Peak. Everything you’ve heard about this game is true, absolute masterpiece. Your choices matter in small ways, but not big ones. I think that’s ok.
