The story, visuals, characters and music are all great, some gameplay sections are really fun but most of the puzzles are too simple.

Objectively the worst game of all time

The game is very mediocre in many aspects while also trying too hard (and failing) to replicate what uncharted does best.

Stealth sections feel forced, the shooting is clunky, puzzles are often too simple, and animations feel snappy instead of fluid; the game's story is decent but nothing exciting.

I'm honestly struggling to find good things about it, the game looks pretty sometimes...

“The only thing that can ever truly be fair to everyone is the truth” - Lost Judgment

The game tries to convey the message of how the law is a broken system with cracks and many problems even today, while not perfect it is the only thing we can truly hold on to and we should strive to better this system. Justice is subjective and the only thing that can free us from this and make everyone equal is the pursuit of the truth.

The characters are incredibly well written especially the “villains” and all follow the ideology mentioned before, even the title of the game fits the theme perfectly.

The general plot of the game is too simple in the sense that most of the plot twists were predictable in my opinion, and while this isn’t necessarily a bad thing since the plot feels well crafted and without holes, it gives off the feeling that a bigger plot twist could’ve been there to make it even more exciting.

The presentation of the game is stellar, the cutscenes, the dialogues, the voice acting, the fighting choreographies are top notch and the game looks visually incredible while achieving all of that and more.

The quantity and the quality of the side content is astonishing, the side quests are funny and clever, and the game offers many different school activities to participate in such as dance classes and robotics, all with their storylines and characters. The minigames which are the exact same as the first judgment are also here to add extra hours of fun.

The combat has evolved from the first judgment, now Yagami has 3 different fighting styles (4 with the dlc) which make combat encounters even more engaging. The game now also offers the possibility of juggling enemies more efficiently similarly to a fighting game making more fun doing a no damage boss compared to the first game, this is also possible thanks to the decision to making faster the switch between styles. Having said that in a few occasions the gameplay still feels a little clunky and not as perfect as other games in the series like Yakuza 0.

Perfect combat, visuals, and music, the story brings up enticing philosophical questions but at times it feels scattered.

Visually decent and voice acting feels somewhat realistic, the writing just felt a bit boring.

One of the most influential videogames of all time, innovative take on shooters, good graphics/music, enemy AI is pretty awful, movement feels janky, voice acting could be better.

While it definitely manages to be fun and enjoyable the whole way through it had a lot of wasted potential.

The story is very clichè and it slows down the pace of the game which is, outside of the instances previously mentioned, incredibly fast in the best way possible.

The gameplay had cool ideas such as the different types of modes to use, which changes the effects of the moves, this is probably the biggest complaint, it's underused and it feels like the game doesn't push you to actually switch between the styles except for the shield enemies.

Boss fights were pretty good, nothing incredible but they all offer different gameplay encounters and require to actually understand them for the most part.

2015

One of the best stories ever written in videogames that deals with what it means to be human and the flickering value that it holds, while also tackling consciousness, painting a not so far into the future tomorrow, the gameplay plays a role into the narrative but it could be better from a purely game sense point of view.

Doesn’t deliver in any aspect, controls are clunky, gameplay is repetitive and annoying even though the game is 4 hours long, the story is basic and the only interesting idea wasn’t developed.

Story was pretty good on paper but the dump at the end was awful, gameplay got boring at the halfway point.

I don't know if it's the port to ps4 that's creating these issues but the controls are genuinely unusable.

The game foundation is pretty good, and most of the songs are great, sadly there’s not enough so it becomes very repetitive very quickly. The harder difficulties are also not amazing in terms of fun since the game is lacking mechanics especially compared to other miku games so the challenge comes down to “how quickly can you press this button?”.
