ALMOST captured the essence of the original. Added this to my list of games to replay in 2023. UPDATE: Replaying it in 2024 and man is this a love letter to the Rayman trilogy. Gem of a game.
Decided to replay it on my PS5 because I miss NBA LIVE, and ended up realizing how good this game is. NBA Live will always have a magic/fun touch that 2K could never match. Live 19 still holds up compared to 2K24 which is crazy. Community is still active and I'm hooked once again.
I started playing FFXVI and then I stumbled upon this remake. I never played it back in the day which makes the experience double new, this is a masterpiece. FFXVI will have to wait.
Absolutely love it. Not only does it highlight the PS5 features but it hits the nostalgia nerve, sparks PS loyalty and it is actually a solid platformer.
I only play Knockout mode to get a modern EA Fight Night-esque fix. Gameplay is janky, they should switch to Unreal Engine because Frostbite doesn't cut it anymore.
The perfect game to escape to for a relaxing time as long as you don't put a timeframe on completion. The puzzles challenge you just enough without getting on your nerves. I find the lack of guidance/direction fascinating as this game feels more like conceptual art/experience than a puzzle game.
This feels like it was supposed to be Tony Hawk's Underground 3. Good old school fun with an active community, the most active open world I've seen in any game.
The formula of the game is generic but fun, very similar to Pokemon Unite. The progression and achievement systems are rewarding, and kept me playing for longer periods of time. Hoping this paves the way for Crash Bash 2.
