idk honestly
this game offers a really unique fe experience and it's pretty you love it or hate it imo. the story is easily one of the best for me and i think as long as you're always clearing out the arena every chapter as most characters then you'll be more than fine staying above the curve and able to completely stomp the enemy army without much hassle
it's a bit unfortunate that EVERY map is a seize map but that doesn't bother me that bad. i think this one is a little bit underrated tbh, it's still really fun to play and get all the legendary weapons and it's still on the manageably easy side of fire emblem for me!
if you play these games for the challenge then this one isn't it, but i personally still have a lot of fun with it tbh! i like my blorbo neimi
it's neat for sure! cool way to play the original game and has new and exciting ways to tackle it with the class changing system.
if you don't give a fuck abt story/characters then the gameplay is extremely fun and this one's probably the best designed of the three. unfortunately i do kinda give a fuck about story and characters usually which is why I can't rate it any higher

there's still plenty of substance and good moments with some cool endings but the main antagonist is way less interesting in this one, two of the new men have weird age gap loves with young women, and like every returning character with exception to one almost feels like they didn't need to be added and it almost kinda insults me. the somniums are overall very high quality though and the game is still fine with some good highs, it just sucks it doesn't stick with me nearly as much

this is one of my fav games ever period. i love the setting, the somniums, the story, the characters, everything. the date somnium where you play as mizuki legit had me ready to cry. my absolute favorite moment was a bit near the end of the annihilation route with prisoner 89 and the slow recounting of this tragic love story cut short, just everything about that sequence stands out in my mind and it's so wonderful. mizuki ending in general might even be my favorite ending even more than the true ending. i would play shovelforge with iris

this game is a very conflicted one for me despite thinking it is pretty good. i think mostly everything is pretty fun, especially dandori battles and challenges, but nighttime expeditions are just kinda whatever for me and i don't like how broken ice pikmin are (seriously even more than purples were) so most boss fights in this game are just kinda dead within seconds. the most draining parts for me are the whole base/missions structure that nintendo has loved adding to their new games as well like kirby and the forgotten land, and the fact it's not a very interesting Low Days game cause of how night expeditions also count as days and in general a lot happens to really bloat the number easily (this is def a me issue more). i realized this game has a fair bit of additions I don't care for after playing the olimar's tale mode and going "wow this is kinda what i want in a pikmin game more". it's still a good game though!
2004
this game is a bit bullshit but i still love it. caves are fun if unbalanced and a bit evil. the addition of the new purple and white pikmin add a lot and i think it's very cool, as well as dandori-maxxing with multiple captains. challenge mode is probably my favorite stuff pikmin as a series has to offer for me

fun game to play and replay. misses some polish from later titles and only offers a few pikmin types but it's still very fun despite that.
some aspects i liked more than the first one, some i didn't as much. the story was overall better and very cool, and i liked the alignments more in this one, but some of the dungeon/over world exploration is really tedious even moreso than the first game and so the start of the game takes a lot to try and grip me. but the abyss is genuinely very cool
this game was awesome and really improved almost everything from the first game
it's pretty fun tbh. suffers a bit just from being the fist game and age but overall i did still enjoy my time more than not
