all my reasons for not liking this as much as the original are all petty and personal and based off of how much i speedrun the original so here are all my reasons:

the voice acting - the original has such iconic voice acting and the remake has so many lines where they read them faster than the OG. it pisses me off and some lines are just read just differently enough to make me mad.

the controls - im a dumb baby and i super fuck the shoot button with two fingers and on the 3ds i can not do that as easily without hitting another button.

the graphicmsmsms - this game looks pretty as fuck. but also that pisses me off cuz the original looked kinda cheap like a budget sci-fi movie and that's why i like it better. also andross doesn't look ugly enough and red as his background color makes me irrationally sad.

the einstein line - i cannot believe they changed it to einstein that makes me so upset.

this game gets points tho cuz aquas looks like an actual level and i can see how many runs i can get in before i have to go into work LOL.
