Gaiden was so ass, they brought Valentia to ruin another game

Better than Tempest but tbf the bar was in hell for that game

Great first half, second half fumbled but its still a good game

I BELIEVE IN LOVE! I BELIEVE IN OUR LOVE! I WISH THAT TWO HEARTS COULD BE ONE. I wish that our hearts could be one

Solid first entry for the series, however I have one major issue: why does almost every version of this game have spell pausing? It makes battles so much slower and ruins the momentum, especially since your party mostly consists of spell casters for the majority of the game

This version is so mid, why the hell did Namco never localize the PS2 remake? ALSO THE ENCOUNTER RATE IS WAY TOO HIGH AAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Massive improvement from the PS1 version in every way. This is the peak of 2D Tales

The first 2D Tales game that actually feels playable. Solid for the most part. I only wish the main party was just Reid, Farah, Meredy and Keele. Everyone you get after them is wasted space

Decent game but man, the translation didn't do Hearts R any favors. I wish we got Innocence R instead

Admittedly, the 3D combat of Symphonia hasn't aged the best but idk, I really can't dislike this game. It's still a fun time and introduced me to such a unique series

Google: How to rate a game on backloggd higher than 5 stars

Easily one of the best games in the series. I don't have any major issues with Xillia tbh

I prefer Xillia 1 but this game isn't nearly as bad as some people say

Vesperia is one of those games where the story is awful but I can still enjoy it because the main cast more than make up for it. Also the combat is hella fun. The peak of team Symphonia combat

This game is tied with Zestiria for one of my least favorites in the series. I legit can't think anything I like about this game outside the music and Chloe. The gameplay sucks ass, the story is dogshit, and the main cast outside of Chloe and I guess Senel are either forgettable or Shirley. Also this game is really ugly. I know PS2 graphics aren't amazing, but Tales of the Abyss released in the same year and looks miles better than Legendia
