I don't like supporting the remake trend, but holy shit - what a game!

The only disappointment in the game, there is no romance with Theo

Remake Silent Hill 2 that we deserved

The second run was even better. It's still a solid metroidvania, and fairly challenging soulsy exploration game. Platforming is a weak point as before, but on the other hand, the game has added quite a lot of content and improvements with the latest add-ons, for which the game doesn't want to be blamed at all.

Very excited before the sequel.

Nice DLC, but has been dropped after I realized how much time it might take to re-explore the game to be competitive with the new bosses.

+ gripping whodunit story with some mystery elements
+ most of the background details are matter
+ chapter's backtracking
+ hint system without direct solution
+ art style

- brute force solutions
- music is repetitive and boring

I wish I love this game more than I do. I'll take another chance in DLC content

Amazing game that deserves more recognition:

Pros:
+ zelda-like/MV exploring world
+ variety combat system
+ loadouts
+ hidden abilities that you can discover by yourself
+ unique time-management mechanic

Cons:
- not so catchy plot
- the real-time crafting system makes some boss fights quite easy

8.5/10

Still the best part of Resident Evil series! DLC is definitely worth buying for everyone who loves the main game and remake overall

I was sceptical, even after the demo, but the game ended up being more than just another Souls-like. It masterfully wields familiar things to bring more than enough new ideas to the table, crushing but fair difficulty that provides the forgotten feeling of joy after defeating another boss.

Pros:
+ Combat system that mixed up some best Souls practices in a new way
+ Flexible playstyle. The game doesn't push you to play only one way, allowing to mix parry, dodges, or even through grenades
+ Most bosses are highly memorable both in design and movesets, which you'll be sure to memorise before you can defeat them
+ Weapons variety and customisation
+ Compelling story and soundtrack
+ Sounds and FX design overall
+ Several UI/UX improvements. Ergo’s meter, number of dropped items, quest icons, etc
+ Ability to respect almost everything, not just a character stats

Cons:
- Level design is mostly linear
- Imaginary variability
- Some things were almost never used (cube, canisters, etc)
- I'd like some P-upgrades to be available by default

Called my mum after the game was finished

More creepy and spooky game than 1st one. Twisted story without a single word and any world information that only furthers the creepiness factor

2022

Sadly, it's one of those games you can only play once. Solving the golden path was an unforgettable gaming moment, as well as the realization that some mechanics have been available from the beginning. Really enjoyed!

10/10

Narratively is one of the best games I played this year, but the gameplay itself just got me frustrated while most of the survival horrors can provide a much better experience today.

8.5/10

Keeping in mind to add 0.5 more points after NG+ and NG++
