This has to be one of the most boring and insulting games I've played in a long time.
The message in this game rivals the message in We Happy Few as one of the most dangerous messages in video games.

The game is all about trauma, may it be physical, sexual, or mental we all have some sort of trama, and at times we may feel that our pain, are trauma is hurting people around us and that we should try taking our lives to save other people around up (I know I felt that way for a long time).

Well, this game tells us we should kill ourselves, that we are "Lost Causes" and if we do kill ourselves we'd be making the lives of our loved ones better for it since they can't fix us, and that is bullshit.

Suicide is never the answer to any problem especially ones you have no control over.

I don't know if this was intentional or not but I can not stand for this kind of message being in Xbox's first next-gen title.
I don't even care that there are aspects to this game I do enjoy because it's all wrapped up in this awful game with an awful message.

Fuck this game and fuck Blooper Team.

At one point in the game, the game tries to make you empathize with a child molester.
The game shows you how he went down this path because his dad died, he had an abusive step-dad, and his best friend was taken by Nazi
granted those are all awful things
but I don't think that gives him enough for me to forgive a child molester.
That's just another thing to add to the shit cake that is this game.

The devs got so fucking mad that people were refunding their broken busted ass game that this time around they went out of their way to artificially lengthen the game as long as possible by reusing whole areas and minigames from the second game and making headass choices like having a hallway with 8 doors each you have to open one at a time, even better one of the minigames from the last game was broken and didn’t work properly and they didn’t even bother to fix it here either. They somehow made an even worse game on their third time around and at this point I don’t think they really wanna get better with their craft, I think they just wanna keep doing the bare minimum and just call people who don’t like their games haters. Why make games better when you can just keep stewing in everlasting mediocrity; these are not developers who set out to actually make a game they wanna make anymore, their just hack out to make a quick buck from stupid kids.

Well I’d tell them just put more effort into their games and make all the assets themselves instead of relying on the same assets they’ve been using for the same 3 games, but to be fair seeing the character models for the games and their horrendous polygon count; I’d still say just learn and try doing better in the future.

I never thought this day would come but I guess it has.
Psychonauts 2 has finally been released, and it FUCKS HARD.

Pretty much all control problems from the first game are gone, and everything feels so smooth to play; that feeling you get when the controller just melds with your hands making you emerged with your surroundings, very few games can truly give you an experience like that.

Not only does the game look fantastic from a graphics stand but it also looks fantastic from a style aspect. Even 16 years later and it still has the charm and humor the original had and then some. Almost every character looks deformed; like someone a really crap drawing on a napkin and then used that as concept art, but it's so charming and oddly fitting with the world of this game that you just learn to accept it after a while.

The level design in the first was some of the best of that generation and it's just as good here. Not only are the levels masterfully designed from a gameplay angle but they're also outstanding in narrative and stylistic. Each mind is unique for each character, one mind might be a psychedelic Woodstock like concert, and another might be a hospital casino hybrid. The levels become character onto themselves making exploration a treat rather than an obligation.

The one aspect that really caught me off-guard was the game's story and writing. For how funny the game can be it also balances the emotional and heartwarming moments amazingly. This game also gets an award for outstanding portrayals of mental illnesses such as "PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, and Panic Attacks" just to name a few. This game also gets the award for having a gay couple that actually acts like real-life gay people. IE regular people.

This was such an amazing surprise. Going into this I was thinking to myself "There is no way in hell this is gonna be as good as the first, at best it's gonna be a fun time with some characters I haven't seen in years"; oh how wrong I was. This game has surpassed the first game in pretty much every category and is now in my Top 5 favorite games ever. Psychonauts 1 will always have its place in my heart, but this game is just so great I just couldn't resist giving this a 10/10. (with a BADASS seal of approval)

That's it I'm done. I'm done with this studio and its games, nearly every game for the past 5 years has been nothing but either the same fucking game, or just some fucking bargain bin rehash of games people actually like. This game's only concept and it feels less like an essential game mechanic, and more like a half-baked idea that was thrown in at the last minute. Ubisoft games are far worse than bad, buggy, or broken, They're all fucking boring.

This studio is gross and borderline evil, and their games all fucking suck. I hate video games.

You know people said this game had mind-controlling properties but I just played like 2 hours worth and I feel fine. Honestly, I feel a lot better than fine I feel amazing, like playing the game heightened all of my senses, I could see every micro-pixel on the screen, I could hear something from insides my Neighbor's house that's 19 blocks down the street, and I could play the whole game with my eyes closed just from listening to the audio.
This truly is one of the best games of that decade, hell I would go as far as to say it's one of the greatest games ever invented, it truly is something that every gamer should play in their life.

It made me feel complete.


On an unrelated note, I just signed up to be a part of the US Military.
