My favorite FF game. Love the characters, love the story, love the OST. The cinematics are still amazing and the world is so fun to take in. I have some small nitpicks like the odd choice of final boss and how janky he is to fight, and how stupid crazy it is to get 1 or 2 of the ultimate weapons, but this game is great.

A very casual game that doesn't pose much of a challenge except a small difficulty bump at the end of the game. That aside, this game oozes charm. A very relaxing and chill game with a beautiful and vibrant world. The characters are fun and the monster taming aspect is done well. Great JRPG for the younger crowd, people just getting into JRPG's, or people just wanting to jump into a chill/relaxing JRPG experience

Amazing OST. One of the best ever made IMO.
The core game here is amazing. Pixel art is great, gameplay is great, story is well above average for this kind of game, characters are good, so on and so on.
Only reason this doesn't get a 5 from me is the gameplay loop is very slow. Grinding takes forever and if you end up losing a story mission it can be hard sometimes to bring yourself to want to go through an entire map again because of the pace of the game

Good game with a great combat system and phenomenal OST. The sphere grid is refreshing and comes off as more interesting than just leveling up. The game does get bogged down by less than great voice acting, linearity, boring antagonist (Seymour), and a main character that is just annoying a lot of the time.
