Even Christine Love is not immune to being a Western dev """solving""" JRPGs. Disappointing.

Why is this game a shooter? I mean, look. I like everything this is taking inspiration from, even if it's much, much blander than all of it. But why is this not a two hour walking sim, and if it has to have gameplay, why is it a shooter? With boss fights???

If we ever get a game with design as tight as this with writing as good as 3H the result will shatter nations
