The original spooky's experience being meant to go over a long time or even be endless detracts from it's overall horror element somewhat. I don't think that is a bad thing at all, it just means a different brand of fun that is horror themed without pulling all the stops to try and actually be scary. This dlc and the dollhouse that would release after it pull out all the stops for full horror and it's a good reminder that Akuma Kira really knows their stuff. These smaller areas more adjacent to a puzzle box or an escape the room game allow for more tight and personal interactions with a smaller batch of monsters. I'm a bit more down on the theming than in the dollhouse and at some points it feels somewhat less fleshed out, but if you own the main game it's absolutely worth playing through.
