I love this way more than the original, don’t get me wrong that game is still fire but they made literally everything better. It feels a lot more like a survival horror title, this time being a lot more serious while still having some of the cheesiness that the original is known for. Even if you’ve never played the original or if this is your first Resident Evil game, I highly recommend it.

It's biggest achievement was being able to make Pokemon fans go outside.

The 6 looks like someone giving head to a Giraffe.

Silent Hill Short Message really piqued my interest when I saw it announced, and it was finally released during the State of Play. Personally, I thought it was an alright experience, it did miss that feeling of being on edge that I had with the older Silent Hill titles, but during the few chase sequences it had, it was pretty intense, too bad we only had a handful of them. The story isn’t all bad in my eyes, the protagonist could’ve been better but at the end of the day, she was ok.But the themes of depression could’ve been handled much better, at times it does feel like a callous parent’s outlook on depression. Also I feel Silent Hill 3 did a way better job at expressing the themes of woman hood, and social commentary. It’s by no means a great introduction to Silent Hill, but I’d still recommend it, especially since it’s free.

Since I played the unofficial patch, I didn't' deal with bugs like most. This game's a goated rpg, the aesthetic, soundtrack, and characters all slap.

For the longest, I always thought this game was overrated and that people oversold the hell out of this game. While I don't think it's "the best game of all time" like so many people claim, I think it's a very great game, and easily one of the best games to come out in that generation. The characters really carry this story for me, especially Joel. His dynamic with Ellie is just so damn good, and he's such a badass as well. The gameplay is great and immersive, the way it makes situations much more tense is top notch. And for the record, Joel was completely in the right for killing the fireflies.

Didn't have too much bad things to say about this game, the bandits were pretty much the only issue I had because of many times I had to fight them. But yeah, that's pretty much it.

If you wanted to make class fun, you'd have this on.

Not only my game of the year, it might have to be in my top 10. The first game is still great, but this game is just something else. The gameplay, swinging, and story are so much better this time around, and the fact my favorite villain (Venom) holds a majority of the spot light in this game is just icing on the cake for me. Easily one of the best superhero games ever.

Definitely my least favorite out of the mainline games, I was wondering if I'd ever end up caring for Henry later on but never did, and I wasn't really a fan of the mechanics this time around, and getting chased by Walter was infuriating asf.

A couple of compliments I can give this game is the enemy design. The Twin Victims are easily a highlight for me, as they're possibly the most unsettling enemies I've encountered in a game. And the soundtrack is great, but that's a given since the goat Akira's behind it. Not the game, I'd recommend buying physically with the way the retro market is right now, unless you just want a collection.

One of my favorite RE games. Hot take but I prefer it over 2.

1993

A revolutionary game, I can definitely understand the impact it made in the FPS scene. I did fall out of it a bit, in the later levels but it's still fun. The soundtrack is remarkable btw.

The first Zelda game I’ve completed, and it lived up to the hype. The atmosphere, gameplay, boss fights, soundtrack, and story telling are superb. I won’t ever forget how Dark Link just stares at you, before immediately attacking as soon as you lock-on to him. All of the temples are really well designed too, personally didn’t hate the water temple that much after finishing it. The soundtrack is really great, makes me wish Nintendo actually put their OSTs on Spotify. It’s crazy how dark this game as well, with the Shadow Temple being the most gritty imo. I love how it portrays the darker side to Hyrule’s history.

I could say a whole lot more but to sum it up, this game’s earned it’s flowers and then some. If you haven’t played this game before, I heavily implore you to do so. This is easily one of my favorite game’s I’ve beaten this year.
