Tons of Hours Played

Seriously embarassing how much time I've spent on this. Update: DRG beat it 😳
Guilty pleasure

Imperialist Simulator 2018.
Boy oh boy do I just abso-freaking-lutely love exporting democracy to those cave-dwelling savages! (oh God do I need to put /s or was it clear I was joking I have no idea anymore Reddit and Twitter "discourse" have irreparably poisoned my mind).
Jokes aside, I kinda like it
Game you always come back to

One of those things that, like heroin and anime, I keep coming back to, perhaps to the detriment of my health.
Stressful Game

I still have not finished this game because I feel nearly sick if I play it for over an hour. I wouldn't have it any other way.
Relaxing game

I feel better whenever I boot it up
Childhood Game

Throwing this in because it's one of the games I bonded the most over with my closest friends and because it just plain slaps.
Favourite Boss Fight - Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower

Hunter fights are some of the best in Bloodborne and at the top of the foodchain stands Lady Maria. I'm not entirely sure on her role in the story but her skill makes her one of the most engaging battles in From's catalogue.
Favourite Ending

Wins because the ending is decided entirely by how you've played during the entire game. That music is probably the part that really sells the entire thing. If you know you know.
Best Art Style

It's just a slideshow with 2d puppets, but boy is it a captivating slideshow.
They Love, You Hate

How these games made cover shooters popular I'll never understand. I tremble in rage whenever I think about the time I've wasted on these titles that have aged horribly.
You Love, Everyone Hates

I swear it's so fun to run through fields of orcs and just tear shit up. Maybe it's because I've long stopped giving a shit about the characters I've become so removed I can actually enjoy the endgame.
Maybe the game is loved, but I wouldn't know it seeing how much hate it gets from people I know.

Actual vote - Gwent: the Witcher Card Game (I swear no one gives it a fair chance)

Favourite Story

Might not be it, you might scoff at this normie pick (you'd be right to do so). Yet it's one of the most emotionally devastating stories I've played in videogames.
Favourte Antagonist - Gaunter O' Dimm

This one was real tough, but Gaunter wins for working so well in concert with the cast of the DLC and for his amazing and oppressive presence in the story.
Might be cheating due to the fact it's an expansion, so if it is I'll vote Hades from Hades.
Favourite Protagonist - Dante

It's amazing how DMC 3 took a somewhat bland Leon Kennedy sort-of-clone and made him into an all-rounded character in the span of a single game.

I would probably have put Geralt of Rivia here, but I feel like I can't include him due to most of his characterisation being done in the original novels.
Favourite Soundtrack

Really makes you feel like a Cossack writing a response to the Sultan of Turkey.
It's scary how every single track has been stuck in my head for ~20 years. Even scarier is how it beats PMD: Explorers of Sky, Undertale and Pyre.
Favourite Series

I ate trough this stuff at an alarming rate, considering how they easily reach over 50 hours of gameplay each. haven't played every entry yet, but I easily see myself doing it in the near future.

No series is quite so human and so bombastic at the same time, while mostly managing to be a grounded experience.
Favourite Game of all Time

It's an addiction at this point, in its many iterations I still can't get tired of it, due to how purely fun and cathartic this game is
