Replaying this after playing the remake, and yeah I still think a remake was well deserved. But I also understand why some wouldn't want it. I played RE before but this was the first game in the series I finished when I was young. I didn't replay it again until 14 years later, and then again after I finished the remake. It's still a really fun game, but around the mid to end part is when I start getting a bit too overpowered with the weapon upgrades, which I feel like was the prime intention to ease in newcomers. The QTE's were also annoying. Despite this, I still think this game holds up very well. The level design is great, the soundtrack is awesome, and the dialogue, while cheesy, is still amazing. The amount of content the game has too is ecstatic. I prefer the remake a bit more, but the original RE 4 is still a fun trip to head back to again after so long.

I actually grew up playing the original Resident Evil 4 back when it came out on the Gamecube (and I was 9). I didn't fully replay the game again until a couple of years ago, right after the Resi 2 remake funny enough. And as fun as it was to replay the game again, I felt like there were elements that really needed to be fixed if they were to remake this game. And here we are.

Honestly, this is the best way to play RE 4. While playing the original isn't a bad choice, the amount of improvements this game fixed over the original is better, and I had a lot of fun playing it, despite me playing this on the Hardcore difficulty and almost pulling my hair out. Despite this, I feel like the original game needed a remake. And boy did Capcom deliver.

Now if Capcom can remake Code Veronica please. That would totally be great.

A slight step up from 2K22, improving on some elements like MyGM, the Showcase, and MyRise. However, that's probably going to be a common thing if they're going to release a new game yearly again. If you're a WWE, or wrestling fan overall, then this is a must buy.

Also, the soundtrack isn't curated by Machine Gun Kelly :D (still not that good though).

Am I really a fan of the Like a Dragon series if I never beaten or even played some of the main games but played and beaten the spin-offs (this and the Judgment series)? Anyways, it's a pretty good game, but I do feel a bit letdown by the combat and the fact the game uses the Unreal 4 engine. With that said, I hope we get more games like this that was only released in Japan make it here in the West. Please let it happen Sega and RGG.

A mixture of the platforming and traversal system of Sunset Overdrive, the hack and slash combat system of Devil May Cry, and the visual aesthetic and soundtrack of Jet Set Radio, Hi-Fi Rush pretty much dropped out of nowhere like a surprised album dropped. The vibe itself just gives me an early 2000's Xbox game, reliving my childhood of playing games like JSRF. And I mean that in the best way possible. A vibe I never had the experience on getting since 2003. So glad that this game finally cured that itch almost 20 years later. An absolute blast to play and I cannot wait to revisit this game again in the future.

Almost two years ago I played the original Metal Gear Solid for the PS1 and I absolutely enjoyed it. So waiting a couple of years before playing the Gamecube remake was the right call. Especially since I think the PS1 version is highly superior. Ranging from introducing gameplay elements from Sons of Liberty (a game that I loved by the way), and the Matrix like cutscenes, it feels more forceful and tacky as opposed to what the original had. I still think this is a pretty solid remake, but not one I can recommend for people who love the original PS1 game.

I enjoyed my time with the game, but compared to the first PW game and T&T, it doesn't come close to being the best. The cases, while not bad, didn't wow me besides the first case. I love the new characters, and this might be the best Phoenix Wright I've seen in quite some time. A good game overall, but my second least favorite game in the series.

I am entering this game without even playing the original game back in 2008. So if the remaster itself is just okay, then I am terrified to play the original when I get to it. Liked the story (or at least the first half of it) and the ending really hit me in the feels, but the gameplay was just so barebones to me, even compared to the FF 7 remake. The most 6/10 game I've played.

A pretty mid slasher video game that doesn't last that long and is kind of clunky at times, even if it was intended.

For a PS1 mech game, it's not too bad. Takes some time getting used to, especially with the controls, but I love the mech customization. Almost like I'm building my own toy.

Surprised by how good this game is. It's not a masterpiece, even coming from a Sonic fan like myself, but I do hope they keep this formula up while improve some of the problems like the Hyper Space levels. A really good Sonic game, but could have been a little bit better.

While the story itself didn't wow me compared to the first game (especially towards the end), the combat is much better here and some of the gameplay elements like the tailing and stealth sections have been toned down a bit. The ending was also great. Overall, a pretty good game!

I think I came to the realization that this series story missions are annoying and why I don't want to play the story itself. Very unfortunate because the story itself is pretty solid.
