This DLC adds a lot of stuff! Is it good stuff? Sometimes.

Quantity over quality, this mod would be more by being less.

Love it or hate it, there is a lot of it.

Apparently a lackluster remake, but without the context of the original its a fun romp through the game systems and world of Resident Evil 2 remake. Definitely fails to feel like a full sequel but is still undeniably a pleasant time. Narrative is as contrived as ever.

If you enjoyed Resident Evil 2 remake and wants some more, definitely check it out.

A short bonus chapter of The Last of Us that would perhaps have been better implemented into the main campaign.

A story that adds worthwhile but ultimately perhaps unimportant narrative content while focusing on using mechanics and enemy types under utilised in the main campaign.

A simple, if a touch uninspired, story told expertly delivered by perfectly paced gameplay.

A near flawlessly refined experience at the cost of not pushing the genre further.

Aside from possibly Part 1, which I am yet to play, this is the definitive version of The Last of Us.

A simple, if a touch uninspired, story told expertly delivered by perfectly paced gameplay.

A near flawlessly refined experience at the cost of not pushing the genre further.

The absolute peak of the Dark Souls trilogy, Dark Souls 3 combines everything From Software has learned from Demon's Souls, Dark Souls 1-2 and Bloodborne into a refined experience that knows exactly what it wants to be and delivers expertly.

Some valid criticisms can be made about the games habit of retreading narrative elements but this complaint is highly subjective.

A fantastic entry point for those wanting to jump into the Souls series.

Sometimes more tech demo than game, Portal is as brisk puzzler experience with compelling atmosphere and light world building.

Definitely worth a play.

A fantastic 3D Mario experience that perhaps leans sometimes into the realm of gimmick but nonetheless is always charming and playful.

A fantastic experience for anyone.

Portal 2 is one of those perfect sequels that improves upon the original in every way. Narratively and mechanically a perfect experience and likely the furthest the portal gimmick can be taken without dipping into convolution.

The lessons learned by the industry from Portal 2 are in the form of narrative and environmental story telling rather than game design and level design due to the games laser focus on its central mechanic not being able to translate to anything else.

An absolute must play.

Derivative schlock suffering from constant visual issues and providing no worthwhile commentary on anything while being unsure what to do with its already poor gameplay.

An embarrassing sycophantic exercise.

Yames' most developed offering to date, however it still suffer from underdeveloped an unintuitive mechanics and relying too hard on style over substance.

An embarrassingly impotent experience where you can at one point pet a cat.

A lackluster experience that offers some extremely basic gameplay and somewhat interesting world building but ends at an incredibly unsatisfying point.

A mechanically barren experience that offers some vaguely interesting art and atmosphere that isn't developed upon to a remotely satisfactory degree.
