Guys, we have to admit that Subspace sucked outside of the cutscenes.

Unfortunately speedrun.com is run by a bunch of hacks, because I'm a top 100 speedrunner of this game but they wouldn't accept my score because of "spam".
Maybe it's because I beat the game and then refunded it on steam during my stream.

I can't believe this is the game that saved the series.

Yeah it sucks, but the soul gauge was pretty fun right?

From best to worst:
King of Cards
Shovel of Hope
Specter of Torment
Plague of Shadows

King of Cards is so unbelievably good. If I wasn't grading the entire package it'd get a 10 by itself.

The story and main cast are fantastic, but man I can't believe Persona had such shit gameplay before 5. And even 5 doesn't have that good gameplay.

I think I don't like beat em ups. I played this one cause it has cute girls in it, which is also why I will pay the sequel.

The worst thing about this game is that it's too short. The day system in the game is absolutely perfect, but you don't get to experience much of it unless you absolutely suck.

Better than the first game in literally every way, and it annoys me that NMH fans consider this to be weaker than the first game.

At least the first game had the luxury of being a hack and slash with a satisfying gameplay loop and charming tone. TSA is mostly filibustering while you play the lamest top-down hack and slash you've ever done did seen.

A mostly decent hack-and-slash that's attached to one of the worst open-worlds I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing in a video game, and a progression system that requires LITERAL busywork.

One of my favorite ARPGs that's sadly let down by a lackluster story and an annoying progression system.

Easily the best game in the series, though considering that it's an anime arena fighter, that's not saying too much.
And random thought, but the background art that's used for the story mode chapter select is so unbelievably good.

I find it strange that the first game in this series is the one that's the most unique as a game. The open world is actually interactive and explorable, there are minigames and not just fights, and even the fights themselves make themselves unique from others in the same game.
The later games obviously improve much more when it comes to polish and fighting section mechanics, but I appreciate this game's attempt at being a true Naruto game.
