A decent fanservice game that's fun in short bursts, as long as you only paid $20.

A very good game held back by its late game, both it's weaker world design and difficulty spikes that make some endgame bosses feel more frustrating than challenging. I felt far more relief than triumph when I finally wrapped up the platinum.

While I'm not one of those people who went in wanting a Persona game, I would have greatly appreciated a story beyond the bare minimum or a single character I cared about. The monster battling is definitely fun, though.

Dark Souls took a long time to click for me. Some of that was due to performance issues in the original console releases, some of which should have been inexcusable. Playing it now at a steady framerate led to a fantastic experience. From should have eased up on the awkward platforming sequences, though. The last third of the game also suffers from some slightly rushed development.

A retread of P5 but still enjoyable. I'm not much of a musou fan but it worked here. Some fans wish the Royal characters would have made it but I liked the two new characters better anyway.

Some of the moments where the new character is shoehorned into the vanilla story feel a bit awkward. I also don't feel any sympathy for a certain character despite how badly the game wants me to. Other than that, it's nearly perfect.

While not my favorite game, Tetris may be the GOAT in purely objective ratings.

Its a mediocre RE4 clone with subject matter that gets uncomfortably dark at times. It's balanced out by great banter between the protagonists and a groovy soundtrack.

While not all of it works (RISE AND SHINE, URSINE!), the heavily improved mini-games, entertaining cast, and the best soundtrack make V3 my favorite game in the series. I understand the hate it often gets because of the extremely controversial ending but I enjoyed the crazy twists.

Better characters, better music, and arguably a better story but the mini-games are the worst in the series. One chapter, while the ending is great, drags hard.

Two things stand out in the first Danganronpa and arguably the entire series: the great soundtrack from Masafumi Takada and the hilarious murderous mascot Monokuma. The rest of the game has its clunky moments and is clearly held back by some occasionally awful translations. It's a fun concept, though, and would later lead to some better games.

Minor miracle that it even functions so props to Itsuno and his team for that.

Fine for what it was, which wasn't much.

It has plenty of it's own issues before it starts mangling the plot of Trigger. The soundtrack is absolutely phenomenal, though.

I do intend to give it another chance when the remaster comes out.

The GOAT. The extras from the DS port are just okay but easily ignored.
