Updated log: I have 100%’d the game on steam and I have some things to say. I really really enjoyed this 100% and even now have a newfound appreciation for Mahjong, Cabaret Club, and the full-range of combat when you unlock everything. The things that honestly sucked were the baseball minigames, get Ron/Tsumo 30 times cuz that takes a lot of luck, and the Bouncer missions pre-Premium adventure because that was literally hell. I thought the Amon fights were pretty good though, I forgot about Extreme Heat until those guys and once I remembered, it was not too bad. “A” by SiM is also an underrated song, it goes so hard and I listen to it unironically. Otherwise, I already played this game already, I know what happens. I just think that it was unfortunate they never brought back Sayama as of my knowledge right now. I honestly believe that Yakuza Kiwami 2 has just become one of my favorites like maybe top 3. I’m not sure if it beats 3 thought because 3 is my all-time favorite but we’ll have to see when I get back to re-analyzing 3. Yakuza Kiwami 2 was very fun and is pretty beginner friendly for the completion goers for Yakuza.

This game has changed me and not in a good way. Even though I think it’s pretty fun detective mystery, the fandom sucks and cringe. I get bullied for playing this game. 3/5 eh

Great beginner for Yakuza franchise. I miss the 4 combat styles though.

This is one of the best RPG’s I’ve played. Even if it was a bit hard and I kept dying to bosses, it felt relief when I did grind and beat them after loss.
