Holy peak

Kirby's and the forgotten land was the first Nintendo game I 100%. Which is a statement for how genuinely good this game is. It is full of so much life and color and it's my exact type of game. I love 3D platformers as a genre and this game is fantastic. Kirby is a super super fun character. This is my first game playing as him and bro is so chill I fw with that. I really love the enemy designs in this game, every character is so unique and really cool especially some of the bosses. Speaking of which the bosses is this game are all really fantastic. I feel like a lot of games I've played recently have had mediocre boss fights but this game had some super fun ones. The level design is mostly great with a lot of fun mechanics I really like how you can do the big swallow thing and turn into human objects. The gameplay and story are both solid and help the game mesh as a whole. Overall this game is genuinely fantastic and incredibly fun. 9/10

Haven is a game I have super mixed feelings about. For one I think this game is visually really appealing. I really enjoyed a lot of the worlds and the straight up looks of the game are just pretty relaxing. I also really enjoyed the music and the whole vibe is really fun and chill. I also really enjoy the characters. Even tho there lines can get pretty repetitive, I actually really enjoy there banter and there cutscenes are fun. But the most important parts of any games are gameplay and story, which is what I'm really mixed on. The story is pretty mediocre, it has some good sections but I don't really love the direction it took. The gameplay is really 50/50, I really love the traversal, smoothly gliding over the nice terrain is really satisfying. But the combat and enemies in the game is what I don't love. Some times I love turn based combat like in persona but this combat is like a mix of turn based and real time and I don't really love it. I wish the game focused more as being a traversal game with like slides or some fun traversal races or something like that. Overall this game is good, not great but good and it is pretty short so it serves its purpose. 6/10.

Unpacking is a very short and very simple game but it executes it's simple idea so perfectly that I enjoyed this game a huge amount. While my room irl isn't very organized, I really like organizing things in games and smaller things irl. So this game was a great fit for me. I love the calm and relaxing gameplay and the soothing music that goes along with it. I love the pixel art style aswell, I feel like it adds a bit more personality to the game as a whole. Overall this game is a high recommend and a really charming game. 8/10
