Souless. Bad. Not worth it even on sale. They managed to make even the magic expansion boring to play.

Maybe not as good as sims 2, but scratches a different itch. A lot buggier though when you start stacking the dlcs.

The dialogue is moving, the writing team did an excellent job making the character's stories feel real (probably because they are based on real life people). The gameplay at its core is a gathering resource simulator that doesn't feel grindy (unless you're going for 100% completion in which case it will be VERY grindy)
Man I wish I was wholesome like the MC. Would not recommend to depressed people.
