A very interesting title that tha thankfully saw the light of day thanks to the efforts of the game preservation community. This game would've been lost to time had it not been for them.

That said this game is neat, looks pretty, controls solidly enough, enemy placement is a bit goofy though. I'm curious on the PS1 game now.

Simple little platformer I played when I was a kid. Movement is stiff but the game is so brief it's not a bother lol.

Solid Platformer on the SNES with a solid OST

Movement is a twinge stiff and enemy placement can be wonky at times

Above average platformer with a killer OST

A solid game that holds up pretty well as a first entry in the Bonk series

The controls take some getting used to and the hit detection with attacks is a bit wonky, but its still worth a playthrough probably more than Super Mario Bros 1 or Sonic 1 in my honest opinion.

Pretty fun, gave me Wario Ware vibes

Main issue is for me is Nintendo not tweaking the NES games to remove the slowdowns.

Its just another Mario game.

It plays fine and it looks good. Its just not interesting at all. After being away from NSMB for so long I kinda expected to feel something but nah. I feel nothing. I don't even feel incentivized to play any of the Star World levels either.

The SMW love is cute though.

A Kirby game, while being a visual treat with a lovely soundtrack, comes off as a regressive entry to a franchise that was progressing (Super Star was already out).

Putting that aside though, as a sequel to Dreamland 2 it doesn't really do much to improve the prior game's issues it instead amplifies them by making the heart star collectibles really cryptic and the ability combos (now spread across 6 animal friends) being more situational or useless.

I still had a cozy time playing the game, I just wish it done more as a sequel to iron out the flaws from Dreamland 2.

Very average, not going to get much out of it on 3DS at least. I played this on a modded N3DSXL and I overclocked the CPU just for the framerate to be stable and not choppy.

Game crashed a few times which I never seen a 3DS game do at all. That said though its a really average movie tie in game that doesn't do anything remarkable.

I got no damn clue why some people are blasting this game on here but whatever I don't care.

This game is probably one of my favorite releases from this year. I got hooked on it with the SAGE2021 demo.

I loved how versatile the Frogun itself was, the game really radiates the energy of "If you think it's possible to do some skips here, go for it" and 99% of the time I was able to. Frogun revels in its speedrun potential and I had a lot of fun finding skips and glitches. It brought me back to the Gamecube days where I really enjoyed finding glitches and bugs and using them. The game does have polish for the most part, but you can pull a ton of crazy stuff that was either intended or not.

The game does have a few issues with it (most of which have already been patched or will be patched, even moreso with the Switch version's framerate issues in some places). I wasn't too keen on the grind I had to do for coins to buy every item from the shop for 100%, even with a grind-friendly stage. The bosses were also really okay. The final boss and a post-game one were my faves, but the others were just "wait til they stop moving to hit em" type of dealio which I guess is in the spirit of bosses from the N64 & PS1 days.

Visuals look really good and I love how cute things look in the game as well. The music is solid too.

Overall, a very fun game that I was happy with playing from start to completion. The replay value is insane as well because man I really want to find more glitches and skips.

A very solid game that I have little nitpicks with mainly in the boss department. The bosses are fun, but I wish they offered more variety instead of having refights with 2 of them 3 times. Granted it is a short game. The final boss was as bit underwhelming too.

Overall, I really like this game, but the crown goes to the original Yoshi's Island.

Genuinely a well-crafted game that helps you memorize multiplication, division, subtraction, and addition. I discovered it back in 4th or 5th grade when we played it in the computer lab. I remember having a ton of fun with it but overtime I eventually forgot the name of the game. My only memory of it was "You play as a green guy and solve multiplication problems to progress"

The music is solid and the gameplay is simple. It's literally just solve the math problems as quickly as you can. Speedrunning the game would definitely be interesting in that aspect.

Definitely recommend if you want a quick game to burn through, you'll have to install it from the Internet Archive though.

An okay remake that really would've benefitted from a Switch release rather than being a late 3DS title.

It took me a bit to adjust to the control scheme since Grezzo opted to recreate the original's control scheme for this release. It works for what it is, but it would've been preferable to have Dark Moon's control scheme instead especially since they went out of their way to include the flashlight from that game.

This game's ok. I prefer playing it over the original and DK Junior but that isn't really saying much.

Okay jokes aside, Minnesota Cuke and the Coconut Apes is a really solid and really polished 2D platformer game which is surprisingly a fair challenge as a kid's game.

I remember first playing and beating it years back at my grandparent's house using their computer and it was a blast. My aunt still owns the game physically too.

To best compare the game to something it's similar to Donkey Kong Country in terms of the pre-rendered visuals and physics to an extent. It's hard to really explain but the physics are kinda influenced by your momentum when bopping enemies and swinging from vines.

I would recommend playing the game, but you'll have to go through tooth and nail to get it running on modern computers and even you do get it running, some graphics won't load in.
