Imagine waiting 6 years and the game turns out to be a shell of what it was supposed to be, basically if Vomitoreum was a bad game (the artstyle is dope tho, saves it from being a 1.5 stars)

Just imagine if Scorn was an actually good game

The game was definitely made on a rather low budget, plus the use of Unreal Engine 4 means it's pretty poorly optimized even after patches, still, it's a serviceable game with a nice plot and gameplay, just, not anything that spectacular

I had played this game 8 years ago, found it extremely weird and didn't understand shit, now I'm almost 23 years old and coupled with the current socio-political climate... well this game hit HARD, it really was way ahead of its time, Kojima really did cook a masterpiece with SoL and I'm glad people are starting to discover how good it always has been.

Peak gaming, Among Us is NOTHING compared to ToS2 and its complexity and variety, the new and reworked roles are incredibly fun, and, while still not being really balanced, it's a step up from the first game.
Also, thanks to the aforementioned Among Us this game has no chance to get as popoular as the first game was, which is actually a good thing due to how awful ToS1's community was in its hayday

Game is... unbalanced to say the least, obviously it's in maintenance mode since the much better sequel is out, but this one is still running in its unbalanced glory, fortunately the game has stopped being popoular so it's not overrun with toxic kids that make league of legends community seem healthy by comparison.
I'm still very attached to ToS

Enemy's guard spam isn't that much of a problem since it only starts in the mid game and by that point you should already have tiger drop and komaki parry (which is busted in this game), unfortunately the sidequests (save for few exceptions) were rather poorly done and the random encounters were annoying.
however all of this is (mostly) saved by the godsend that is the plot, won't spoil very much but it's genuinely great and I didn't have any issues with the slow-burn almost slice of life start, on the contrary, it was one of the strongest points in the game.

I love the moon, I love the convexity of the glands, I love the legendary melting of our worms

(this review and vote also counts Throne of Bhaal)
Genuine peak, absolute masterpiece of RPGs, the epic end to the Bhaalspawn saga, Jon Irenicus is a peak villain with god-tier writing and god-tier voice acting, just play this game, it's miles better than the first one (and that was an amazing game in its own right).

As much as I suck at sokoban games, Void Stranger is a genuine masterpiece, I'm not gonna describe the plot because due to how the game is structured basically any kind of information would be a massive spoiler, but good lord the game's lore and plot is god-tier.
The gameplay, while requiring multiple runs of (mostly) the same levels is so rife with secrets and skips that it takes away any repetitiveness it could have.
Unironical 10/10 game.

I'm incredibly bad at shmups, in fact this is the only shmup I've ever played, yet this game is genuinely fantastic and with a surprisingly amazing plot (won't get into too many spoilers).
I played this game a few months ago but now that I remembered to log it, I'll just say that if you like shmups you're really gonna like this much more than I did

While I didn't find this game to be the masterpiece everyone says it is, it's still a perfectly good conclusion to the Drakengard/Nier saga, with arguably the best gameplay of the 5 games (although the final fight's design was... extremely questionable due to basically forcing you to play online), although the characters didn't resonate with me as much as they did in D3 or Replicant, this is still a fantastic game and I'm glad it got more people into this wonderful series

This game was the definition of underwhelming and I'll leave the review at that, so it can be just as underwhelming and boring as this game was

Had I not played this with a friend I'd have fallen asleep multiple times, except for Fran, the robot and the psycho all other characters were immense cringelords with a severe case of marvel/netflix humor, plus the way the main characters' survivals are decided makes no sense whatsoever

While the combat system is pretty dated, the story still really holds up to this day and good lord is the villain an amazing character
