Maybe the worst movie tie-in game I've ever played? Didn't get far.

Played at a friends house who was begging me to try it - I'm sure it picks up later on, and stylistically it's beautiful of course, but the subpar gameplay and mechanics just weren't doing it for me.

Had a charming style to it, but the gameplay just didn't match it. Especially the combat.

Thankfully had absolutely nothing to do with the movie, may as well have just been some random alien as the protagonist. Surprisingly challenging and nuanced for a kids game, with tons of environment and gameplay variance.

It was a fun party game until child me realized you don't have to sing the right words and can just make up your own lyrics or simply grunt into the microphone at the right volume. I think I spent more time watching the bloopers reel than actually playing. Still entertaining enough for some laughs.

Many fond memories of my only Animal Crossing experience. Super cute, but also super limited at certain points. It's basically begging you to fuck with your DS's time/date settings just so you can have stuff to do once you run out.

Played this when it first came out expecting everyone to have the same feelings I did on it being trash. Very surprised its still going on and that people dump big money and lots of time into it.

Never will I understand how this thing is remotely popular. I hate MMOs, but this one makes every other MMO look polished and fun. Looks terrible, feels terrible, is terrible.

I miss this game so much. I was so sure I'd be able to find a flash or emulated version online somewhere given how old and popular it is but have had no luck. Heartbroken. So much charm in so few pixels.

Super fun sandbox, never bothered trying any other game mode. Hours upon hours were dumped into the usual Tycoon formula making a super cool park with every possible ride and then converting it into a death trap.

Subpar gameplay carried by cute character and sound design. Worth trying.

Never got far in the story mode, but had a ton of fun endlessly playing the first 2 levels over and over. Such a creepy atmosphere.

Better than you'd expect a late 90s Disney movie tie in game to be. Having so many animals did it a lot of favors with me.

Vivid memories of crying in my basement because the samurai boss was so hard.

I loved this shit as a kid. It was definitely super terrible.
