Not as good as the first game as the gacha like blade system and lots of annoying little things like needing to equip specific blades to unlock areas on the maps and the game goes heavy on the anime style but the story did keep me going to the end

A very charming game. While it is a puzzle game it is not challenging at all however that is not an issue. Very brief game but the visuals, music and how satisfying sucking up objects into the hole makes this a wonderful experience

Incredible game with great combat, great story moments and wonderful visuals though some story moments do drag on a bit and characters speak too much in combat and advice on puzzles too quickly.

Played after patch 1.6 and on the whole the game is in a really good state though still has a few bugs in it. Gameplay is solid, story was good and night city is a great place to explore.

It was OK but some puzzles were a bit frustrating to figure out and I feel like I only barely grasp the story

Didn't feel right playing it on switch like the old ds games and the story and puzzles weren't gripping me

Graphically this game is great and runs great on pc, the gameplay is fine though can be a grind to get some items and the missions are clearly designed with portable devices in mind as they are good for short quick bits of gameplay but can get boring doing a bunch at a time. The story is an absolute mess and I do not think the pay off is worth playing through.

Very simple RPG. Quick to get through but not much here.

2021

Great game let down by some bugs and performance issues. The games set style and soundtrack are top notch. The game is quite chilled with no combat but I do feel the story could have had a bit more to it. The game is rough around the edge with several bugs, weird collision issues and a stutter issue on pc but on the whole an enjoyable game to play.

Can see why people who played this at release loved it but playing this in 2022 does make it harder to enjoy. The atmosphere of the game is fantastic with the fog and the sound design making it a very tense game. However the tank controls take awhile to get a hang of and often I would try interact with an object only for the game to not allow it until moving back and forth and the boss fights felt incredibly clunky feeling more frustrating than scary. The story was enjoyable to go through however I do see why this game is getting a remake as the gameplay has not aged well

Really enjoyable action platformer that doesn't over stay it's welcome.

Very enjoyable puzzle game that gave me similar vibes as portal. Game had a very satisfying feeling whenever I managed to figure out the correct route. The visuals were interesting going from different types of signs but the music lacked a lot of variety

Incredible racing game with so much customisation for how you want the game to play. Only big negative is the acting and story stuff they have in it

Pretty basic game with a pretty basic story. Wouldn't recommend unless you were desperate to play ever dragon quest game. Would recommend using a guide for the dungeon mazes.

After being pretty burned out playing the base game and skipping side quests I wasn't sure if I should jump right into this expansion but I am glad I did. This expansion fixes so many of the base game issues and I completed every side quest I could in this. It fixes a lot of the tedious menu navigation from the base game and the combat felt more engaging and not as complicated as the base game. Highly recommend this to anyone though I do think you will be lost with some terms without playing the base game
