They finally made Mercenaries fun.

This is certainly one of the visual novels ever

"I'm not a monster, it's only a mask."

fun game, I wonder when it will come out

While not the best Souls-like, it's still very good, I just wish people would bring up its shortcomings instead of dick-riding it.
The constantly repeated bosses, progression tied way too close on quests just to continue the story, and (in my opinion) the worst end game areas in the series all bring the game down.
Other than that, yeah, it's pretty good.

I absolutely love the source material for this game, both the movie and graphic novel. I missed out on the original release, so I could only imagine what would've been like to play the game so many YouTubers praised. Lucky, this game got an updated rerelease, and this time I had to play it. After one of the bosses kept crashing because I was playing in co-op, and accidentally getting out of bounds more than once, we beat it. Sadly, I feel very underwhelmed the majority of the time.

The game looks fantastic and controls well, but I personally thought the music was okay, not really my thing, and the whole game felt like a product of the time. before I knew it, it was over and didn't feel like going back at all. Guess I'm not really into that whole "Retro Revival" era of the early 2010s. This game just isn't for me, but I'm glad others liked it.

This game gets way too much hate. It has a beautiful world, with some of my favorite JRPG party members. Shame the story, even in the "complete edition", was still pretty meh and the combat while fun at first became very repetitive. It was my first Final Fantasy, and I still really enjoyed it.

It's the best game, cause it's every game.

A rather fun game, but not a good Fallout game.
