I really want to make clear that the 3.5 stars I'm giving this game are ALL graphics, music, and general ambiance. This game is a feast for the fuckin senses, absurdly impressive stuff. I did not like playing it past like stage 6, and before that I was kinda just doin it to do it. But I finished it, and it's not bad, I just didn't have that much fun I guess

Today I P'd so hard and finished game. When this was announced I genuinely thought it was gonna be gutter trash, but I was really pleasantly surprised with it once I actually got my hands on it. The world and enemies are incredibly charming and there are some real emotional highs here. Like any other soulslike though there are some design choices I either don't agree with or straight up think are bad, and in the end I really only loved a few bosses of the bunch. Really hoping someone makes a mod for boss refights so I can do some of the Phase 2s properly instead of vaguely cheesing them without learning movesets. Anyways, good game, looking forward to Friends of D
