In actuality, I'd give this an 8.5, but I'd rather lean on the higher side to show that this game is better than most Fire Emblem games. The gameplay is very unique, and the story is actually very good, and beautifully complements FE4. Some of the later maps are kinda annoying, and there are a few mechanics that are somewhat frustrating, but they're made up for by having some great mechanics like stamina. Overall, good time.
It would be disingenuous to review this without first prefacing that the finale is not present at the time of this review. So why, then, would I recommend an unfinished game? Your Turn to Die: Death Game by Majority truly answers the question of, "What if Danganronpa... was good?" The story feels like it has actual weight, in no small part because of the multiple route splits and chances to just lose characters. The minigames are fun and creative, and the "trials", while clearly heavily inspired by Ace Attorney, have their own sense of self and style. The graphics are also incredibly charming, and the music(while sometimes poorly looped) is quite catchy. It's not too long, and I definitely recommend it to anyone with even a passing interest in the concept.

Now that I have actually finished Elden Ring, I can say that I don't really like this game. I think a lot of the lategame bosses suck because they feel designed around using a summon, the world is too big with not enough to do, and uh I don't have a third big sticking point. I do like the weapons and customization and lore(not more than Bloodborne, but the important stuff just feels like a downgrade.
