A well dated one of a kind experience despite being the first in the souls series.

Incredibly fun and enjoyable party game.

A challenging timeless shooter with undeniable charm

The most visually stunning and enjoyable racing game I've ever played.

Exhilarating fighting game I've spend countless hours on despite having a horrible online net code.

A charming and cute farming/simulator that is unfortunately cursed with tedium

Not much I can say about a Call of Duty game besides being fun and disappointing at the same time.

Persona 3 portable brings a new perspective to the persona series with its slice of life type gameplay interconnected with the already established dungeon crawling makes for an refreshing experience. The game follows a nameless protagonist who had been transferred to a new location in result of his/her parents tragically dying. The protagonist joins a secretly operated group titled S.E.E.S which operates during the dark hour; a hidden time period appearing after midnight only for those who wield the power of the persona. Not to be confused with The original Persona 3 or FES, Portable plays substantially differently compared to the original. The game takes a more point and click direction due to the limited power of the PlayStation Portable which couldn't handle the open 3d explorable world that the original had. The game contains gameplay changes most notably the direct party commands during combat. Now the introduction is over i can share my perspective and thoughts on the game. I mostly disliked this game, maybe that's because I played persona 5 and 4 first but i beg to differ. My main issue about the game is the repetitive and boring grind of Tartarus, the main and only dungeon of the game. I had to take multiple breaks off this game because of how bored and frustrated I was with Tartarus. Its really the only massive problem I have with the game but besides that the experience as a whole was (mostly) enjoyable. It had a great narrative with a stellar cast of characters which made the game worthwhile playing.

2020

I had quite the experience with this game. I first bought it 2 years ago, planning to beat it within a couple of weeks. However I grew honestly bored and unmotivated of the game after the 2nd palace and dropped it soon after. 2 years later i finally build the courage to play it again just to be met with a corrupted save file. I had to redo 20 hours of progress but i was able to push through. 100 hours later i finally finished the game; it was exhausting. This game is way to damn long for no reason; it becomes such a drag after awhile. But goddam this game is a one of a kind experience which I enjoyed to its fullest extent. Great cast, Great story and great gameplay, the perfect trio for a videogame. Not as good as persona 4 but still very good.

A game very notorious for its unfair difficulty and infamous enemy spam. I enjoyed it to some extent, I mean it is a souls game. But the flaws out way the little positives the game has, making probably the most polarizing video game ever.

When I first started the game I was absolutely filled with excitement, I had been anxiously and patiently waiting for this game for 6 years and I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. At first i enjoyed the game; racking in 100+ hours over the span of 2 weeks. However I soon learned that the game actually lacks any meaningful content compared to Elden ring. I was expecting an open world experience on par of Elden ring but only got lackluster content in terms of the new areas (Depths, Sky Islands). First off, the depths is without a doubt the most lazy and boring area in the game. There is nothing of interest in the area besides armor pieces which originated in the previous game that I had already seen; destroying any excitement I had for the area. Secondly, the sky islands may look interesting at first and quite frankly stunning however you soon learn there is nothing but boring and lazy repeated content. I'd say about 95% of the islands feel the exact same and lack any difference in terms of design and quests. Unfortunately My problems for the game don't stop there as for the ground level of the map there are barely any new interesting key areas/monument whatsoever. This honestly pathetic for a game that took 6 years to make; including a reused map with reused assets. I also have problems with the heavily unbalanced combat system and repetitive shrines but I've had enough ranting. Instead ill discuss the things i enjoyed about the game. I enjoyed the new abilities such as the fuse mechanic and ultrahard which made the game a great sandbox for experimentation. In terms of story there isn't much to talk about, it mainly follows the same path as breath of the wild which isn't a bad thing. It isnt a terrible video game, far from it in fact. It just left me disappointed of how better it could have been.

The game has an excellent soundtrack and charming visuals but lacks any guidance to give to the player which ends up making me search up where to go and what to do every 20 minutes.
