Right so I have about 90 hours of playtime with this game and was SUPER hyped for this as a huge dogma 1 enjoyer so here’s the full review:

Story 2/10: the story is nonexistent, the MSQ is a bunch of boring activities with some cool stuff here and there and just wasn’t exciting at all, heck even Grigori doesn’t even have anything interesting to say and is super lazily added in for the finale.

Side quests 6/10: there were some cool and interesting ideas, some of my fav was the Beren and especially the Helping Hand event, the rest were much more bland though I must say.

Gameplay 6/10: they removed most of the funky fun stuff and just made everything more “balanced”. When it works the gameplay is great it’s bad-ass and does everything well but many times you can be stun locked by even goblins which isn’t really fun.

Vocations 3/10: so now they removed most advanced vocations, mixed vocations and even the base vocation for trickster, this new vocation system is Absolutely wack, dogma 1 had a advanced for all and mixed for all, this game has literal classes missing (let’s not even get started on how they ruined some like Greatsword and it’s Arc of Deliverance).

Endgame 6/10: it’s pretty cool to basically be in the eclipse looking setting but honestly there’s a lot of problems with that area which brings up my next point.

Performance 1/10: this game is SUPER buggy, first hours or so I’d get 80FPS and 15-25 FPS in towns but in the endgame section I got 9FPS vs a boss that is human sized (Dullahan), I then decided to drop the game even though I already technically “beat the game”.

Overall : I’ll be honest, it hurts to say this but I’m just very disappointed, I came in with the expectations of Capcom was gonna drop a banger and they made a half baked game full of issues.
