really good game. like many good stories, much is left unwritten. It gives you little slips of information and lets you extrapolate personalities and lives and events and reasons. The story is beautiful. I think the multiple endings are dumb. Two of the endings are just going to piss people off and don't really have a good reason to be there. The ending I got was good.
In terms of graphics, this is the most beautiful game I've played in a long time. The UIs are beautiful, the revolutionary government aesthetic is pretty impeccable. the music and sound were also excellent.
the robots are also really really cool. i just love all the little details about them. if your the type that loves stuff thats fully explained the robots are pretty good. they talk about how their brains are made, the issues they have, their personality quirks. stuff about the biological material that makes them up. they are great.
The gameplay is pretty resident evil from what I have heard from those who have played that. I was scared the entire time because I was bad at horror games but I did enjoy the puzzles. Its a good game.
This game made me want to buy a big book on graphics programming and start making some glitch shaders or something.

really fun, wish combat was this good in every game. i should try sekiro next!
i enjoyed the characters a lot and the intro to the armored core universe. i like the rubicon liberation front communist type guys they had great voicework. i think the build i chose (light build with two BAWS burst assault rifles) is too strong and i dont recommend it, i could not try to play other builds when i did ng+ because they felt like handicapping myself compared to it

This game is fun sometimes, but I generally think its mostly a slog. Like Nier: Automata, there is a bit of replaying, but with the slower and more annoying combat in Replicant, and less interesting enemie, its just unthinkable to replay the game to get the other endings. As well, with almost no fast travel, it becomes painful and it shifts from being typical jrpg slog to just not worth it at all.
The quests are miserable and awful. "Get 10 goat hides and refarm the annoying robot level youve played 5 times" No I dont want to do that i want to play and have fun. I can tolerate backtracking and stupid quests but if the characters are just Generic_Villager_5 and theres so many of them I just wont.
The game looks ok. Not as beautiful as Automata and you need an injector to fix some frame pacing stuff, but its fine, no complaints.
The story is interesting, and the combat is cool sometimes, and I love Keine and the characters, but the story isnt as masterful as Nier: Automata and will leave fans of that game unhappy because in the end it really isnt worth all the slog and replaying. I recommend Nier: Automata instead, because the replaying isn't as severe with how well done it is.
TLDR: I cant recommend a game that doesn't respect the players time.

Good writing but some of the characters are just too annoying to care about. Also the mandatory Ota route is dumb and it fails to make you feel anything. They tried way too hard to put many endings in it for no good reason. I love aiba though good game glad I played it. It made me not want to play danganronpa. I might still not play danganronpa
