This is another super sick concept for a game, but is held back by literally being incomplete with no intention of finishing. It is horrendously buggy, to the point where I have just walked into a wall and clipped through before. In general, it's just a really poorly optimized game as well, running poorly even on really high end systems. I also just ran out of things to do after a little while, gameplay is pretty slow, and building is pretty jank.

FPS perfection. Every single weapon and weapon mod feels amazing, is useful, and highly encourages playstyle experimentation. Of course guns are only as good as the enemies they shoot, and luckily the enemies hold up incredibly. Every enemy serves a purpose on the battlefield, and can be a pain in the ass in the best possible way. Best FPS to come out in decades and I am really happy to see how it has begun a bit of a revival for the movement shooter genre.

I like this game more than hollow knight come at me.

But real talk this is the best possible way Metroid could have made a comeback. It's an extremely smooth, fast paced game with some of the best bosses I have fought in a 2d game and a really fun world to explore. Also I really appreciate the fixing to Samus' character after Other M did her badly.

Absolute masterpiece of a game. Characters are charming, world is excellent and stunning, combat is insanely smooth, with bosses to match that combat. The one thing holding this game back from a full 5 stars is that the death mechanic feels incredibly pointless and just serves to waste time and retract from my exploration.

I like this game, but it really suffers from a few issues that I don't like. First and foremost is the framerate at points. One of the boss fights drops to like 10 fps, and I have died because of it. The game's level design is also just ok, doesn't really do anything special.

This game is so fucking sick despite not even being complete yet. The mechanics are extremely smooth and movement is amazing. My one complaint is that I feel the game doesn't force you into its systems enough, you can honestly just use only the shotgun if you want to. I would heavily prefer if the enemy AI forced weapon swapping in some way.

This game is so dope in concept, but for me is held back by a COPIUS amount of grinding. I grind super hard for a new armor set, and it becomes inadequate within the next 2 hunts.
