most fun gunplay I ever played

fished for many hours, would not recommend

Replayed this after not being able to play it for like 10 years

Still fucking amazing

Wow yeah this was fucking terrible

Only good part was the artstyle, everything else fucking sucked

(Abandoned after roughly 3 hours)

Man, what a dissappointment.

The setting is fucking amazing, looting some rich has been A list stars mansions was very cool, but anything past the setting is just one big dissappointment after another.

The guns are WAY too weak, you're tryna tell me a NORMAL zombie could take THREE FUCKING SHOTGUNBLASTS STRAIGHT TO THE HEAD ? Oh Fuck off...

The zombies themselves are also not great, anything other than the standart zombie is really annoying and plastered throughout the world wayyyyy to much. Wheter it be the Screamers or the big roided up dudes, its just not fun fighting them AT ALL.

Also the story is just completely fucking irrelevant, the main "villain" doesnt even get introduced until like halfway through the game.

The actual combat gameplay is fine, tho it barely feels like a step up from Dead Island 1 and Riptide and thus starts to get pretty bland after a few hours.

Also i gotta say, im REALLY fucking tired of breakable weapons and crafting systems as a whole.

(for context, I never played the original game, so i have no nostalgia for this whatsoever + i went in prettymuch completely blind)

Good, but WAY overhyped

The last like 3 hours of the game were absolutely horrible. I dont understand why this game is so legendary, because those last 3 hours are just as (if not even more) bonkers actionfest garbage like Resi 6.

Absolutely amazing, cant wait for the next one.

Really dissappointed to be honest.

To be fair, it makes sense that the levels/movies are all so short since they had to make 9 of them, but considering how often this games release was pushed back I kinda expected it to be longer.

Also the fucking cutscenes go by so fast I felt like I was watching fucking tiktoks.

the combat carried it

that shit was mid as hell bruh

2022

That was kinda mid

The entire combat was really unnecessary

The entire "hands not useable" thing at the end felt like forcefully stretching the game.

The visuals were amazing but its not like they came up with any of that themselves...

A bit too short but it aged surprisingly well

This is THE game ever.

(And by far the best out of all Soulslike games, not even a debate)

While im not happy with Ellie's decision at the end of the game, I still love the game with all my heart.

By far the best indie game ever made and its not even a debate.

Played it on Game Pass, gonna buy it on steam soon and get the other endings.
