I really wanted to finish this game, but unfortunately, after a few hours of gameplay, I gave up playing further because the performance on PS5 without the next-gen patch is pointless. The game looks like it's struggling to even reach 30fps. And even if it does manage to hit 30, the PS5 really makes you accustomed to 60fps, so it's really hard to play titles like this after experiencing 60fps for a while. But I just read that a next-gen patch might be released in 2023!! If that happens, if I can play at 60fps, I'm going back to Fallout 4.

I don't understand the voices of massive criticism towards this game. It's genuinely a very decent title and a fun game. The graphics are superb, even in Performance mode. Perhaps there are some graphic issues on PC, but on PS5 (latest patch), I haven't noticed any major problems. I experienced a temporary FPS drop a couple of times in specific locations, but it was brief. It's disappointing that the game could be much, much better. Beautiful locations but empty—even if they added some puzzles to solve in those same locations, it would be more interesting. I was apprehensive about this game because I don't particularly enjoy getting 'scared' while playing, but here it was really okay in terms of the fear level :) In fact, the game even encouraged me to buy Dead Space—although it apparently won't be as 'polite' there ;)

I completed the main storyline and almost instantly uninstalled game. The game evokes mixed feelings... On one hand, the graphics are fantastic, brilliantly reflecting the Harry Potter universe, especially Hogwarts—a colossal castle, the wizarding school, modeled with such detail, style, and taste that I was amazed out loud every time I played for a month. Previously, only God of War impressed me so much with its graphics, and here it seems even better, with higher-quality textures, much higher. The world is very vast, and I know I haven't visited many places for sure. Even after completing it, I returned to Hogwarts for a moment to finish a similar task and discovered two new Floo flames! Unfortunately, graphics are one thing, and the story and gameplay are another. It should be noted that the traversal system is really good. So far, I don't know exactly what was missing—definitely an engaging story, lack of cutscenes that would immerse me more in the events... even in the game engine, but more and better done. Lifeless characters... Surely, if I were a teenager and a big Potter fan, it wouldn't bother me, and I would undoubtedly be ecstatic and fixated on the game—because it's a paradise for fans of the universe.

Another great jRPG aimed more towards genre enthusiasts than casual gamers because it has a few features that may deter some who isn't this kind of game fan. Excellent storyline that captivated old fart like myself :) Very well-written script. However, the game itself could be shorter - 2/3 would have been sufficient. Now, Scarlet Nexus awaits me :)
