the perfect tower defense game
no tower defense game will ever top the amount of content this game provides with its excellent lineup of towers that compliment each other really well including heroes and various difficulty options like chimps double hp moabs impoppable etc
not to mention maps are really well designed for the most part where placements are key and some paths and towers shine more than others however i find that the beginner maps are the most enjoyable because of their simple design and most towers can easily shine in them
there are daily challenges for you to enjoy and think about every day which can vary quite a lot from easy to straight up pixel perfect spots but its one of the main appeals of this game and there are endless amount of challenges for you to enjoy and conquer and some challenges include ace or ability micro some include buying and reselling some include abilities that you didnt know like how primary expertise can shoot camo even though the game never specifies it can or relentless glue blobs popping camo etc there are always new things to learn from challenges and i think the games lifespan will be pretty long because of the challenges
the races are basically micro hell and always end up with wall of fire maelstrom cluster spam however by playing races you can really improve your micro and money management and compete for the top spot
the odysseys are nothing special in my opinion the rewards are nice and all but it feels to limiting especially how they restrict so many towers and heroes and so many custom rounds which dont make sense its just not really for me the only good thing about it is the trophy reward
also when you level up the game rewards you with a knowledge point which can be used to unlock upgrades for towers and generally increase your power tenfold and i think the most essential ones in my opinion are bonus monkey, pre game prep, big bloon sabotage, more cash and mana shield
the bosses are decent i dont like dreadbloon though because it is incredibly easy to defeat even on elite difficulty but i think bosses like lych pose a challenge because lych steals your buffs and gains hp from them just to let you know buffs in this game are broken and are essential in almost every run and lych basically denies that so you have to think outside the box for the early game late game lych is pretty easy though because you'll have 2-3 paragons at that point and they cant get buffed anyways and deal bonus damage to bosses bloonarius on the other hand is nothing special he is just a bullet sponge that you'll need to get through and your screen will probably freeze trying to kill him because he spawns endless amount of BADs
vortex is another interesting boss he stuns nearby monkeys and he speeds up nearby bloons so global towers like sniper and helis are pretty effective because they are outside of its stun range on the other hand close range towers like tack shooters are pretty unreliable and often stunned
my problems with the game are with the boring grind to unlock new tiers and the multiplayer
the grind can get annoying pretty quick and i get why people are turned off from this game because for the first few hours you are just unable to do anything except place dart monkeys and quincy the best method to get through this stage of the game is just selecting logs as the map and place only 1 type of monkey throught the entire duration of the run (you dont gain much xp from freeplay by the way and rounds get increasingly harder so i wouldnt advise you to do it if youre a new player) anyways thats how i managed to unlock every tier and the game finally became playable
the multiplayer is incredibly fun when youre challenging yourself in chimps and so forth and has a lot of potential but the main problem is with the INSANE lag and i think a chat system like the one used in btd battles would be nice also good luck playing with randoms because they sure as hell arent going to donate money to you especially player 3
there are sooo many others things that i have yet to talk about in detail like the secret achievements, powers, heroes, types of bloons, paragons, contested territory, farming techniques, vengeful sun god etc this game is just packed with endless content
i might be a little biased since bloons was the only one there for me during my difficult times but i think everyone should at least give this game a try

i really love the aesthetics of this game and how it handles horror and that resident evil/silent hill feeling it radiates not to mention the enemies do respawn after a certain amount of time so you gotta be quick on your feet and really think about who to shoot and how to preserve your ammo the game does give you plenty of options to get rid of the enemies so thats a plus
the first person and third person transitions are also done really well and it adds depth to the gameplay not to mention the story sections
the only problem i have is the inventory space is always too tight and it gets clogged up by literally ANYTHING however i guess i might be bad at management
nonetheless its a pretty good game it deserves a good rating
(i love the evangelion influence on it as well)
