bruhhhhh i was so wrong about this game. legit dope, although the second half was not as interesting as the first… dope atmosphere GODLIKE villain and aight cast. fun gameplay, a little grindy at the end, but this is a damn good example of a great jrpg and a good video game
holy shit. coming from 7 and gaiden, i couldn’t have been more excited for this. it’s legitimately one of the worst games i’ve played in a while. awful fucking story that’s beyond ridiculous even for series standards, yet somehow tries to justify it which makes it even MORE STUPID. also the game is ugly as butt, the combat feels so spongy and the difference between one level can change the entire balance of the combat. it’s the grindiest fucking jrpg i’ve played in two years man holy shit i hate everything about this game minus the characters. god damn i fucking can’t, i’m genuinely sooooo upset i was so looking forward to this and i simply hate it.

i like gaming with friends. i don’t like this game
not a fan of the gameplay or the first like 70% of the game tbh but wow it is legitimately worth playing for the GODLIKE final chapter. it made me ugly cry. cool segway into infinite wealth
what a pleasant fucking surprise. tried to get into this series many times but wasn’t vibing with the mashy braindead combat…. but now we got basic bitch ass jrpg combat and it rules. this game is incredible. it’s stupid, goofy, but also sick as fuck. the saejima and majima boss fight literally became top 10 gaming moments of all time for me. i’m a fan now
i haven’t really sat down and played a game in about half a month, but thanks to a good friend i’ve been able to play this game. i fucking love it. MY 250TH LOG BY THE WAY 🫣 the cast is charming, the gameplay is fun (albeit a lil braindead), the music is fine, the story is meh until the second half where it really picks up… but this game NEVER slows down once it gets going. i can’t wait to play the other route someday in the future

i always end up dropping this game towards like the last 5 hours idk why. i don’t have the remake so i just loaded my old file up and literally only had like 4 hours left of gameplay left. i mean it’s okay i guess, i hate tartarus lol. it’s fine
pretty cool! the second half was pretty bollocks though and made it kinda of a slog that i was fed up with. the gameplay is really smooth and the movement is nice enough :) i can’t wait to play more from the series

it’s a great game, enough said. it’s super charming and full of love. great ost, great characters, decent generic save the world story… but it’s a real pleasure to play. some parts towards the end get super super grindy but if you want a game that plays it safe to earn a minimum of 8/10… this is your game
