It started out a bit slow. The controls and movement felt too slow for the level design. But then I kind of got into it. It was a bit hard for me, but fair. Some of the boss battles were pretty tricky for me. Ultimately, they just came down to learning the attack patterns and dodge timing, but I am not great at that. Also, some of the platforming was tricky. But again fair. It almost had a "souls" like feel, although the leveling mechanic was kinder than a souls game (you didn't need to recover your souls when you died).

The story was weird, and not totally clear in the end. It is not a game you play for the story.

Overall, if you are into metroidvania like games, I think it is worth giving it a try.

Cute, relaxing fun little game. Highly recommend.

This game is just amazing. A must play for any point and click fan.

It was ok. I never really got the timing down on the combat system. Animations, character design, etc were all really well done. Story was a little heavy handed at times. It feels weak compared to the batman games. I think the 4 character thing probably weakened the story telling a little. Worth a playthrough.

Amazing animation, story telling and voice acting. Neat mechanics, but some balance issues made combat a bit trivial.

I credit rolled Chicory today. I picked in up on ps+ after reading a click bait headline about the last chance to play it before it is removed from ps+. I had no expectations or knowledge of the game other than it had a neat art style.

I ended up enjoying it quite a bit. Good exploration of mental health, without being too heavy. Some neat puzzle mechanics. Some of the boss battles were pretty cool, with the dual control (and some other tricks thrown in).

I feel like the paint the world aspect of the game didn't hit with me. I certainly didn't paint just for fun. And I didn't feel compelled to side quest and collect everything. Although, some of the side quests were cute and funny. Overall, pretty good. Would recommend.

This game was more fun than I expected. It really hooked me and I played through it pretty compulsively.

Fun game. Story was not as interesting as the first one. But good open world game.

Ok. Controls are good. I played on normal, the final boss was a little tough for my skill. Took me a lot of tries.

Really fun game. Much more depth than the first one. Huge variety of retro gameplay levels.

I played through and finished about 89%. It was a really fun little experience. It hit on a lot of nostalgia notes. Recommend.

Game was ok. It got a little tedious, but I generally enjoyed myself. Well worth playing for free as a distraction game.
