Finally a sequel to crack
Simply put, one of the top 5 games in terms of writing. And maybe the best use of politics ever seen in a game. Talking to people is very unique and this version is fully voiced so no compromises for this gem that has around the same number of words as all three of The Lord of the Rings books, plus The Hobbit, twice!

Incredibly stylish game with fun dungeons that can be done 99 percent stealthily, deep combat system, 2 new confidants unlike the original game, a whole lot of quality of life improvements and likeable characters. Fantastic english dubs by the way. What more could you ask from a game? I could ask for less infuriating puzzles and a more realist writing. Persona series always had absolute evil vs absolute good's battles, frequent coincidences so an inferior way of story telling. It's like the romanticism literature. You wanna know what will happen to our guys but you also know that we will achieve happiness and solve our problems everytime. Also Mementos is very boring. 5 stars can be justified but I gotta give it 4.5 because of these issues.
