some more good ass tekken. Thank god the netplay isn't total dogwater this time, and I love all of the newcomer characters. I will give this a full five star once they add Miguel back

As it stands it's a stellar game and it does a lot with what the OG laid out and incorporated a lot of the newer elements of RE8 and I gotta say I wouldn't mind if RE9 or whatever comes next plays 1-to-1 like this game. There's also a lot of newer things added and changed that I do like a lot; Ashley and Luis are fleshed out a lot and are way more memorable and fun, the knife parry is awesome and Separate Ways is wayyyyy better now.
There are some things that I think feel a bit weaker (Ada and Salazar feel weaker as characters, I Miss The Stupid Robot) and it still feels a bit redundant to remake Resident "Third Person Shooters Exist Because of this Game" Evil 4 but regardless they did an amazing job.
Also they better not remake fucking RE5 after this I swear to god

Replayed this on a lark because it's halloween and I gotta say this game has a really strong aesthetic and builds tension really well even still. I fondly remember when the game before it went the route of any horror property that takes off and goes creatively bankrupt within four installments how it spooked me and my pals while we were in highschool. Also still standing by the fact the robots look genuinely really scary in this game.
If your game makes me install multiple emulators so I can go through the rest of the series now I think its safe to say you made a really fucking good video game. if you'll excuse me im gonna give myself carpal tunnel playing Master of Arena
