This is a miraculous game. Doubles down on everything that makes the original so special while giving us even more to enjoy and think about. The fact that it also has a beautiful open world, the best combat in the series, and a soundtrack that is immediately among the franchise’s best is all gravy. I absolutely love this game — it’s a Final Fantasy that absolutely loves being Final Fantasy VII.
