Some of the most well crafted one on one combat encounters and combat in general but lacks in exploration and world design

This is the most NEAR perfect game ever and it infuriates me.

dlc review: bloodborne the old hunters
so i finished the old hunters dlc and man
is it good. all levels are so unique and are
a blast to explore and go through. all new
weapons are so much fun with my
favorite being the boom hammer and
whirligig saw is also really great.
obviously the best part of this dlc are the
boss fights and i will go through all of
them, ludwig the accursed/the holy
blade is my favorite boss of all time, his
first phase is a classic beast fight but
with a lot more depth, his phase
transition is my favorite of all time, and
his second phase is so much fun to fight
with every single move being so well
designed and the music in the entire
fight is my favorite soundtrack of all
time, living failures is certainly
not a good boss fight, it just feels a bit
lazy to me. it feels like they just put a
bunch of normal, simple enemies in an
arena and called it a boss fight, lady maria of the astral clocktower is my
favorite hunter fight in the entire game.
her moves stay relatively the same
throughout the entire fight with them
just getting an extra layer to them
keeping the fight fresh the entire time
all moves are really well designed and
feel unique, the fight has a really great
pace to it making it one of the most fun
fights in the entire game! Orphan of kos
is another one of my favorite boss fights
of all time, once again his moves are
really well designed and the fight just
has a really good flow to it and his
second phase goes so crazy. laurence the
first vicar is an interesting fight because
i dont quite know how to feel about it, he
can easily back you up against a wall
which basically means death but i feel
his moveset just isnt that interesting
also hes really difficult and ive died more
to him than any other bloodborne boss,
his design is also quite cool
conclusion: this is my favorite dlc of all
time and also my favorite souls content
10/10

so i just finished it for the first time but the ending i got was really underwhelming so im gonna go back and get a different ending because it really doesnt feel like my bloodborne experience should be over so soon

fun for a bit but not that special

game review: titanfall 2

story: not that much to say about except for that its good ig it didnt really interest me much and it obviously isnt the focus of the game too, the relation between BT and Cooper is very interesting and fun and some of the dialogue in this game is really funny too, especially during the boss fights
combat: now this is where the game really shines. There's so much variety to the weapons both on foot and in a titan the gunplay feels so good and very realistic, the firestar is also a very cool throwable and very satisfying, there should be more variety to the enemies tho cuz i think there are only like 4 for on foot combat, the titan combat is amazing as well just wish the movement was a bit faster in the titan, the titan combat does have a lot of variety to the enemies unlike the on foot combat
movement: very simple but feels very good but I think it should've expanded a bit more on it and used it a bit more, the level The Beacon uses the movement very well and would've wished to see it more
level design: once again this is where the game shines, every level feels so unique from each other and they all have something that makes them standout and very enjoyable, some standout levels are: effect and cause, the beacon and the ark, some of the best level design in any game ever
some minor complaints: the pacing is a bit too fast but that's mostly because the game is very short which is also a complaint of mine

conclusion: a very simple fps game that for me personally is what every fps should aspire to be my final rating is a 9.5/10

game review: spider-man miles morales

story: its fine way, the characters are all just fine, the antagonist is nothing special and just the main premise doesnt interest me that much, miles is a very charming and full of life protagonist, the story was way too short and felt kinda rushed in some parts
combat: way way better than ps4, they added some difficulty. the venom abilities are amazing theres way more variety to the enemies, and the bosses are also way better and more different from eachother, just a big step up from ps4
traversal: they did add some more variety to it with more air tricks and obviously the venom abilities but it still is just average not that much better than ps4
mission design was very good, i generally really liked playing all missions and there were none of the boring stealth missions, this game did have a bit more slow walking sections than ps4 but not that much for it to really bother me

conclusison: a big step up from spider-man ps4 but lacks in some parts my final rating is an 8/10

game review: spider-man ps4

story: the story in this game is by far the best part with it having one of my favorite antagonists and a very likeable protagonist, the side characters all do their part and some standouts are miles and aunt may, the side villains are mostly there for gimmicks and boss fights but i thought they were fine
combat: the combat is decent at best, its mostly just dodge and hit without any depth to it. there isnt really any depth to it there isnt a lot of variety in the enemies, some abilities are way too overpowered and can get you through a combat encounter in seconds, my main issue with the combat is the lack of difficulty because all the difficulty options just play the same way but they just change the numbers which is just lazy
traversal: like the combat its also just decent, not that much to say about it i just wish there again was a bit more depth to it and that there was also some difficulty to the swinging system since its one of the core mechanics that youll be interacting with the entire game through
mission design: its good almost all missions feel different and are unique, my only issue with it are the mj and miles missions with them just being too easy and lacking any depth, i liked the miles mission with rhino and mjs mission in osborns apartment

conclusion: spider-man ps4 is a good game with a lot of issues my final rating is a 7/10

Amazing progression system

my favorite piece of fiction ever made and the best level in any video game ever and the last screen is my favorite moment in all of gaming

the combat is simplistic yet feels really good and fun to play tho the force push doesnt quite feel right, the story is really weak tho. my favorite part of the entire game must be the boss fights all really well crafted and feel unique

my childhood game that still holds up very well nowadays my only issue with it are the recent updates that all feel a little bit stale and feel like they ont add anything major to the game

near perfect game just wish there was a bit more variety to the enemies because it has a really good combat system already

story is good but the characters are kinda uninteresting, the gameplay is awfull tho way too many slow walking sections, a lot of limitations in movement for example no jumping button or cant even walk of a cliff even tho i want to, combat is good but the camera is way too zoomed in

story is mildly interesting combat is good movement is good, level design is very bad and the map system is awfull, and i still experience a lot of performance issues
