When the fangame is better than all the mainlines

I love this game, I don't think the story or characters are as good as 7, but the gameplay and horror is vastly upgraded from the previous entry, especially playing in VR

Played this for the first time completely blind to the series AND in VR mode, and it was a blast. Fun gameplay combined with great environments made this game quite the ride, can't wait to piss my pants even harder during village, which I'll also be playing for the first time in VR mode naturally
