my experience with this game was as follows; decide to play it on my ds cause "this time will be when I figure out what the hell is going on". spend one hour fucking around while making no progress and then don't touch it for a year or two and then repeat.

The atmosphere of this game is unparalleled to anything else. staying up until 10pm on a school night slinging my wiimote was a magical moment I will never be able to experience again.

honestly it's a 4/5 for me, but I made it 5/5 because of how they released a game that inadvertently crushed any prospect of a future 2d mario in the style of new super mario bros. why would I pay $60 for a new mario game if "mariofan982" from Illinois can post twice the amount of content (albeit not good content) and offer that same experience?

The only fighting game I've played is smash bros, so I went into this game completely clueless only to find out that it is some of the most fun I've had in a game for a long time. I don't know what it is, but each match is exhilarating!!! I've had games where I completely wreck the other player and then games where they fucking obliterate me, and the whole time I am just smiling. Something about this game is just so addictive, I'm excited to maybe get an actual pc so I dont have to use the potato mod and stare at pixels lmao. Definitely gonna keep playing this for the foreseeable future
