I really loved this. There's tons to do at varying levels of difficulty/challenge. It made me laugh out loud and it made me cry. I do have some nitpicks here and there, but I thought it was an improvement on Remake in every way. It really managed to capture the spirit of the original.

Way ahead of its time in a lot of ways, but the last stretch was such a steep difficulty increase for me that I didn't think I'd make it for a bit!

This was a replay for the first time in at least 10 years. This game is still great and and it's awesome to see the way it planted the seeds for other games in the future. AI companions are a nightmare though.

I loved this game! I love that it's not the same set of characters from every game. All of the gadgets are fun to use. Even when you're lost between dungeons there's plenty to do.

My only gripe is that a lot of the time the kinstone fusions send you on a goose chase to get like... 100 rupees.

This is a bummer, but I didn't finish this. I loved the first game, and I'm not upset they changed the style of gameplay for this entry, but it just felt like a bunch of ideas that weren't fully baked. I think I'd give it another shot if they were to do some sort of big update/revamp to some of the mechanics.

Fun and extremely charming, but way too short for its price tag. I also wish I could play as Yoshi without it being baby mode. :(

Certified classic, but Click Clock Wood has always been so frustrating to me, as was the final fight.
