Basic souls-like that doesn't add enough to the formula to make it unique. If you need waifu souls, this is it.

Catches a lot of flack for trying to address how the previous game was played. Swings for the fences but often misses. Cool dlc tho

Viewed as a return to form for the series for better and for worse. The interconnected world of the first game is left behind for linear, albeit well designed, levels. Rolling is buff again but roll catching attacks make their presence known in this game. Issues from the last games, such as input buffer and lack luster pc ports, peak their head as well. Very solid entry if you're looking for more souls.

Failure to address legacy issues (pc port, input buffer, etc.) and reliance on tried and not always true enemy design make the game feel aged for some souls fans. As someone who has played all the souls games, the gimmicks and tricks of the series feel played out. While some may relish in the world design, which is beautiful, the way the world is populated with copy pasted bosses and dungeon designs tested my patience in the wrong way. Might pick up later for dlc

Does a great job of making you feel like batman. While the individual systems and mechanics don't have a lot of depth, the game is tuned so finely it's hard to but down. The atmosphere and voice acting put you at arkham's door.

"What if arkham asylum was open world?" the game. Atmosphere, voice acting and controls are a strong as ever, making this one arguably strong than the debut entry. Not a lot in terms of mechanical refinement, but higher difficulty levels will test you.

A great time, even better with friends. Has a unique sense of charm and place that people who grew up with the game will never tire of.

Classic side scrolling action with a little bit of resource management. Great pixel art and tough enemies, with some designs that are very familiar to beat-em-up fans.

Plays with expectation in a fun and interesting way, but some levels are not fun. The fast and frenetic pace of the previous title is still there, you just have to work for it at times.

Wearing it's hotline miami influence on it's sleeve, this fast-paced side-scrolling action game will test your reactions and tap into the perfectionism you didn't know you had. While some the moral choices of the game don't always hit, finishing the game is a fun and rewarding endeavor.

Even as a fan of suda51, this game is hard to recommend. It is the definition of style over substance. Very shallow game, just like it's main character.

Charming game with fun character, art and music. Will challenge you and has certain glitches to keep things interesting. Don't take it too seriously and you'll have a great time.

Hotline miami-esque, with its own sense of style and action. The game will challenge you in it's later half but it is carried by its art direction.

Shallow game in every aspect. If you're looking for anime boobs and UwU you will have a great time.

Humor is very hit or miss, game can be fun but combat lacks oomph for a melee focused title. Will come back to it eventually.
