Weakest 3D mario so far. Awful depth perception, some annoying extra stages, unimpressive game feel. Feels more like a 2D mario. It's good as a pastime I guess.

Fun combat, and deckbuilding with decent potential. However, terrible pacing in regards to very high encounter rate paired with intense puzzles and pathfinding. The internet maps are an absolute mess to navigate through as well.

Combat is good as always, reworks to main character bring a melee style and a dash system that is easier to deal with. Stages have the usual quality, though the music was better before. Plot is kinda wack, as expected from Inti. Hard mode required for true ending, and it is quite disrespectful of player time.

Crazy hard game, but also fun to crack down puzzles little by little. Wouldn't reccomend for casual players.

Pretty fun and interesting puzzle game. However, some stages can be very hard to get an insight of which steps to take to reach a wanted outcome.

Simple, clean, and enjoyable game. Despite that, it can bring very interesting and challenging situations.

Crazy good for such an old game. It's easy to get lost though, specially without a map, but despite that the level design helps a bit. A worthy experience for those into the series, or those curious about the first few metroidvania games.

It only scores anything more than zero due to what it started in the gaming history. Nowadays though, it's a horrible experience on its own. Nearly impossible to get anything done without a guide. For those really curious about the baby seed of the metroidvania genre, play with a map or a guide. There are also patches that help smoothen the experience, such as "Metroid + Saving" (check out the unnoficial update).

Fun game, gets updates at decent pace. Pricing can be annoying since it's subscription based, but at least it's decently cheap. Free to play is also alright since you can play all seasonal maps and some competitive modes.

Insane game to play, can get as deep as you're willing to go. Lots of combo options and decent cast of unique characters to go. Sometimes can feel a tad too reliant on luck in regards to the random stuff you find.

Surprisingly friendly for free to play, you can make a decent amount of fun meta decks without spending way too much time to get the resources. Gameplay is very involved and rewarding. Has a decent amount of PvE modes too.

Surprinsingly good despite how linear it is. When it starts opening up, it gets real interesting. However, it's annoying to go for 100% since many pathways on the map stay locked even at the endgame. Worst offender: SA-X is criminally underused. Despite all this, the gameplay is solid, the story is intriguing, and the climax is crazy good.

Solid Metroid game. Does what it's expected of the franchise, and even has a few surprises. Exploration could have been more organic though.

Simply perfect. A love letter to a series and a genre, with lots of skill and polish to back it up. One of the best Metroid games, if anything, limited by the world design of the original game. Still a masterpiece and a must-play for the genre. It's just insane how good this was made out of the original Metroid 2 and how it expands it, and how it connects itself with the series as a whole. The line after the credits gave me the deepest chills.

I really like this game, but it's hard to recommend. Gacha is a problematic genre on its own. Plus, this one is really stingy in regards to free stuff. Despite that, it's the first gacha game that strives to keep the gameplay involved, free of auto-battle braindead shenanigans, and has events that respect your time by requiring little time to finish. Frequently new updates add brand new areas with unique gimmicks and fun exploration, and many new events have their own vibe too. The game can be VERY grindy on the long-term however, but at least it requires rather minimal daily effort. Can be played if you want to only see new maps, as the overall game difficulty can be controlled by the player, dismissing the need to have a lot of grinding on your characters.
