It wasn't doing enough for me to continue but maybe one day.

"Who wants to grab a cold one back in Folca?"

The main story doesn't reinvent the wheel but it's an enjoyable journey with friends. I do think it's more enjoyable if you're already a fan of Granblue like I am, but I think it's cool enough to stand on its own. The last few chapters are genuinely epic as hell. Awesome bullshit boss fights with amazing music.

The gameplay is super fun and I'm pretty happy with the roster they chose for the game. I'm hoping that they feel like adding some more in past this first season though.

"The obstacles in your path, define the path. What stands in the way becomes the way.”

First and foremost, I really enjoyed Cal as the MC here. Seeing his growth and him having to retrace his steps of his training was great. Cere and Greez were great as the supporting cast, and I loved the little banter during and in-between quests.

Probably one of the more fun games I've played combat wise, and the exploration was sweet too. I loved the way new tricks for Cal were introduced.

All-in-all, a great game that was sealed with a good ending.

"If you had grasped the journey’s finale right from its inception, would you still embark on this journey?"

Another great continuance and a good ending to what is my now my favorite arc in HSR. They stretched things out a bit too much in the middle of this one, but the ending was one that gave me the same feelings that I got when I finished Belobog. I love this place.

"Go, make them proud."

Best bit of story that HSR has gotten to date and it was heavily focused on Aventurine who is now one of my favorite characters they have introduced. As a patch, 2.0 was definitely better but the story puts this one over.

"So, although this world isn't real, this experience is priceless... Just like this moment."

Loved this continuance and Penacony. The side content was great and genuinely enjoyed a lot of the side missions. The story and the new characters were all a treat.

Had a lot of fun with this one and enjoy the sort of whodunit story going on.

This continuance definitely overstayed its welcome for me but I thought it was mostly cute. Guinaifen hard carried a lot of this for me.

Returned to Belobog to get one of the best story portions to date. Who would've thought? Also, really enjoyed the companion mission for Jingliu and the Aetherium Wars event.

Cool little bit of new story. Hard to give it much more than this though.

"I want my pilgrimage to be full of laughter."

I can definitely say I see why this game is so beloved. Going through these trials with this cast was such a good time. Wakka and Auron are two I'd say are on my all-time list now. I felt a great connection with them, and the story overall hit hard.

The fantastic music only enhanced my experience, and the combat was mostly enjoyable.

Most of the things I had issues with can be chalked up to age. I found a lot of the puzzles to be overly tedious and the grid system to be a bit dated, but I appreciate what they were going for.

The final stretch is one of the best I've experienced. Great game.

The gameplay in Unicorn Overlord is addicting as hell. Probably my favorite game of this type gameplay wise. The story was okay but I expected a bit more coming off of 13 Sentinels. I enjoyed the character interactions, and I came away loving quite a few of them. Vanillaware does it again.

"I been here since the beginning, and I still don't know what the hell's goin' on."

The music in this was phenomenal and honestly eclipsed Remake for me. The funniest thing though is my favorite song came from a side quest.

The combat was much better and honestly fun as hell. I honestly didn't really like the exploration bits much and missed the more chapter structure of Remake. I may be in the minority on that though. It's a bit hard to review the story without getting into spoilers so I'll just say that I enjoyed it for the most part. There were a couple things that I didn't like but I'm willingly to see what happens with them in the 3rd game.

I had a lot of fun with the minigames in this though and I fucking love Queen's Blood. I need more of that!

Oh, and this solidified Barret as my favorite party member.

"You'll be... my living legacy. My honor... my dreams...they're yours now."

From a gameplay standpoint, it was a bit of a slog to get through but not the worst thing I've ever played by any means. I was mainly annoyed by how many stoppages were put in my way while trying to progress the story.

It was nice getting to learn more background about Zack and Sephiroth specifically. The story itself felt a bit disjointed and at times I felt lost its focus. However, I think it stuck the landing in the most important bits. The ending of the game was amazing honestly. Seeing that moment come to fruition genuinely rocked me.

"All that really matters is that we're proud of how we lived."

Persona 3 was the game that truly made me love video games and honestly changed my life. When the remake was announced, I was insanely excited to experience one of my favorite stories in an updated fashion.

I'm not sure exactly what my expectations were but I can say that they were surpassed. It was done justice and some.

The addition of new social aspects like the guys getting Link Episodes and the hangouts enhanced what I thought was already a strong cast of characters. The additional scenes and focus that the characters get made the story moments hit even harder.

I liked some more than others, but I very much enjoyed the Reload OSTs especially Color Your Night.

The gameplay is way more enjoyable than the previous versions of P3 and the Theurgy skills are cool as hell.

All-in-all, Persona 3 Reload is all I could've asked for and more. It has renewed my love for this game and cemented itself as an all-time favorite.
