All those hours of playing the older games are paying off completely. Seeing how each of the game connects to each other is so satisfying makes it worth it all. This game definitely has its problems but I'm blinded by peak and kino so I can let it slide. New class 7 isn't as good as the old one but I enjoyed most of them. Genuinely cant wait to play CS4 I need to know what happens.

While I'm not the biggest fan of CS1 I really enjoyed my time playing CS2. It delivers on some mysteries the first game set up and makes more at the same time. Which makes me very excited for the next game. (mild spoilers) The biggest problem I had with the story is that we already new too much before Erebonia started. The story bits at the end would have been better if we didn't learn about them in azure. At this point I'm just going to assume every trails game is going to have pacing issues. Its inevitable on games this long so I'm just accepting it as the norm. The main story was good but what really got me was the epilogue. I got hit with the same emotion I felt at the end of sky the 3. Its crazy how good they make you get attached with these characters, might be the strongest thing about the trails series. Overall I was left satisfied and I want to see more.

I really wanted this game to be great since my glorious king oliver was going to appear but unfortunately most of this game felt very tropey in allot of ways. A big thing that really brings it down is that we already know so much of what happens in Erebonia from the other trails games that seeing those scenes happen in the story eliminated any shock it would of had. I also wish they kept C identity more of a mystery it was super obvious who they were. A big thing I liked about FC was how familiarized I was with Liberl by the end of the game, but I felt the opposite happened here. If you showed me a map of Erebonia and told me where Legram was located I wouldn't know what to tell you. Which I find very weird, this is a setup game I really would of liked to know the place.
I know I'm ripping into the game allot, but I really do believe that its not as bad as people say it is. I always keep up with the ludicrous amount of npcs in the other trails game, but with this one I felt way more invested in what was going on with the school. I loved seeing the characters grow and become friends. They all came from different political background, and they all still found a way to get past that.
For me Cold steel definitely had allot of issues but the characters really made me turn a blind eye for most of the game. I still very much enjoyed myself with this game, and now that were mostly caught up to where Azure left of I'm hoping the story can pick up again.

No words can describe how satisfied I am with how the story rapped up. Its peak... it was so worth the wait.

Its peak...
Having a smaller main cast compared to the sky trilogy made me get attached way quicker to the characters. The writing is just as good as it was before they really don't miss. The liberl stuff was just too good it was so worth the build up. I really appreciate the changes in game design on caves/dungeons, they don't feel as linear as they used too. Please don't start the trails series with this game, you'll get more from the story if you start with FC. Overall a great game with a good cast, still miss Oliver tho.

This was the most connected and disconnected game I've played in awhile

Taking place in a more dungeon type area instead of exploring Liberl is something I feel like only trails can get away with. There is no need to explore Liberl anymore since we did that 2 times already and there's no need to build up characters again since they already did that. I don't mean it in a bad way but if I played a game like this that wasn't trails I wouldn't vibe with it. Short version is that trails can get away with a dungeon like game because they've already set up the characters and world.

While I did enjoy the main Kevin story, I think the biggest thing that came from this games were the doors. They either wrapped up character arcs or moved the story forward which I'm very excited about.

For awhile I never really felt like the main group were a family, more like really good friends, but after the send off at the end it got me hard. Its sad that this is the last time we will get to be with the Liberl group. I'm gonna miss their antics between each other. Going to miss my goat Oliver

This shit was peak fiction. All the stuff that was set up from the first game gets an amazing pay off. It did have a little bit of a slow start but after ch 3 the story and gameplay picks up to create one of the best rpgs I've played. Estelle is definitely top 5 protags, she's so goated.

Twitter wasn't wrong about these games, they go hard.

The characters and worldbuilding are so good. I loved talking to people in a town and then seeing them again in another town, its a small detail but it makes the world feel more alive. The combat system is cool, crafts are a thing I didn't think I would enjoy but as I got more, it opened up allot of cool strats.

I can tell this is the beginning of something big, I'm very exited to play SC I hope my goat Olivier is in the next game.

This game was almost the perfect fe game but unfortunately fell off a bit towards the end. I loved how the world developed outside of Ike's perspective, made the world and their leaders feel so real. Each group has different upbringings and dilemmas which makes you empathize with them so much more. What a great character Ike is, he's hands down the best Lord. The end credit scene had me speechless he's the goat fr.

I love the difficulty in this game. Anytime I get the urge to do a nuzlocke I always think of this game.

Gen 5 lives up to the hype I kneel

I usually only fill the pokedex for the shiny charm but this game made me want to catch pokemon for more than just the shiny charm. They actually made catching pokemon fun.

I almost turned back this game after the first day but I kept playing and i really enjoyed my time with this game. The story left me in awe I thought they were done telling good stories in a pokemon game.

It does have huge issues, the graphics are atrocious and this might be a me thing, but I think this game definitely needed level scaling. I was level 40 when I took out gyms that were 15-30 level range. I would rather follow an order for the gyms instead of how they did it here.

Overall this is a good direction for the pokemon series, but you can tell their game release schedule is working against them.

I love the pokemon and characters in this game. The islands were a cool idea just wished I didn't have to play that minigame to get to a different island. People who complained about the dialogue are weak.
