i really admire people who do violence

I finally finished the DLC and the questlines i didnt beat as a teenager. I love how terrible and good this game can be at the same time.

This game does pretty much everything perfect except for difficulty which is such a shame. enemies are slow and passive, ammo is plentiful and so are healing items which feels like such a fumble for how unique and well done the aiming system is. I know the devs are working on a hard mode but in all honesty they should make that the default and make whatever is in right now easy mode because I quite literally died zero times and never ran out of ammo lmfao.

one of the best paced AAA games I've played in awhile and also one of the best modern Resident Evil games.

Does the one thing it sets out to do very very well along with a great soundtrack that keep the vibes up when the game gets harder (i beat the game before they added shadows to the ice cubes in the club level lmfao). The writing can be pretty funny and absurd at points which I think fits the games whole shtick pretty well.

aged better than half-life 2 by a country mile

it should be illegal to make a game this pretty but plays so fucking horribly

Some thoughts
-The overworld platforming challenges range from ok to pretty good but all the bosses are an absolute blast and really carry this gameplay wise.

-Rei is great but holy fuck please stop her from thinking out loud in the overworld that shit sucks.

-OST has some incredible orchestral accompaniment that really elevates it during the boss fights and the overworld tunes are all very very nice too.

- I love the art direction a lot in this game and really think heart machine nailed the transition to 3d

- the movement and control is actually just on another level of smooth, huge fan

Beat it with a controller and in 4:3 for authenticity.
