love a game where i can get a couple of drinks with the bros. weird how there were block puzzles trying to murder me in between all the hangout sections tho lol?
if atlus weren't homophobic this would have a jonny route

just an incredible, crazy all around game. each character in the cast is so intricately written and the cast interactions are what make the storytelling land so well. every route is fleshed out and interesting, and the somniums were a really creative use of environmental storytelling and super intuitive to me. how does uchikoshi do it.
i bought this on ps4 and switch bc i liked it so much, but i don't recommend the switch version. it runs so poorly lol

i will finish whenever i get the motivation to hook my wii u back up again

true xenoblade fans know the crunch is what makes wiinoblade superior

you know i'm alllll about that idol stuff.
the story actually isn't even that bad. its just typical fire emblem good vs evil stuff. the characters and their songs are fun, and the jrpg gameplay is super addictive. i loved chaining attacks together. stan yashiro tsurugi

this game rules. loved every second of it. i could play this for hours. a real shame you can't date dominic...........

i like the extra champion's lore even though idk if it really amounts to much all things considered. the additional boss fights aren't anything special (except fuck waterblight), but that final boss fight was very unfun. would not want to do that ever again.
revali you are so misunderstood by botw fans

i'm gonna be honest. i starting playing this game for revali. cried out of frustration a few times but i finished all the shrines, divine beasts, quests, and compendium.

i truly loathe this game. it introduces a lot of characters and concepts i want to love, but the direction of the game feels so wrong? it retcons a lot of cool things introduced in aa4, and completely wipes the character development of a lot of key returning characters. they completely massacred apollo!!! many of the cases are boring and it was a brave decision to focus the emotional weight of the story on your new character that you gave zero development & meaningful screen time to. i bought the dlc cases for this game before i played anything and i couldn't even bring myself to play those.

not my style savvy game of choice but i did enjoy this!! the contests were more difficult than the original game (which i appreciated), and i liked all the new main cast. may have cried when certain guest characters popped up lol. there's a lot of extraneous content in this game though like furniture and fortunes that i couldn't be bothered with. and it felt so anticlimactic to win all the international contests, like we should celebrate that but it just goes to the next day!! also lots of repetitive dialogue...

my favorite of the bokumono 3ds games.
feel like it both improves and moves back from story of seasons in various ways. there were a lot of gameplay improvements, and i appreciated the reinclusion of tasks (similar to ANB) so gameplay didn't feel aimless (like SOS). also enjoyed the addition of friendship events, it adds more character to both marriage candidates & townspeople.
the character portraits are so fugly tho? esp bc the official art looks amazing and was what the portraits looked like in both ANB and SOS. and i really missed the feel of a cohesive town environment we got in the previous games. people between towns interact, but they feel so fundamentally separate that it became annoying trying to balance them all. grindy in parts, but a lot less grindy compared to the previous two entries (and the main story was a lot easier to complete compared to ANB). married hinata who stole my heart frfr

really solid bokumono game. the characters and town are very distinct, loved the music and land betting gameplay too. unfortunately money in this game seems pretty hard to come by (golden flax method ftw) and materials are insanely grindy??? i was literally not able to have twins because it is impossible to get rarer materials in this game without insane save-scumming. this would be a 4.5 for me if the rates weren't extremely low. married fritz the love of my life

the best 3d ace attorney imo. enjoyed both the ace attorney and professor layton sections and the story was insane in just the right ways (ala layton style). appreciate the care put into meshing two very different artstyles, gameplay, and storytelling methods into one game

i really liked this generation. the story wasn't anything special and the gameplay was a breeze, but i liked the characters, music, and overall map (routes/towns/dungeons). unfortunate that the game feels so big until it doesn't, but that's pretty minor imo

one thing i love about this game is that it stresses that anyone can do art and just gives you tools to build your skills. made some cute pokemon art
